I have to comment this because I know some people are going to think that this AI is like some sort of robot which can think. It's basically like google, and it's a sponge, many people have been using it and it keeps getting data. It's also extremely important the way you type your questions/commands as that can give you different results.

Just spent some time talking to it. For academic questions I can say I'm satisfied. I always get confused when it comes to the philosophical discussions. I tried asking the right questions to it & I'm actually surprised how well it explained compared to doing a Google search. The way it answered is clear enough that I know what to ask next. Now I know why it is important to learn about philosophy when doing dawah. When I remember the arguments brother Zeeshan makes in his videos & other brothers made when doing dawah. But as usual, when it comes to asking something political, it'll get too apologetic. You have to be ambiguous about who you're referring to, only then it will show the right morality, which is frustrating & funny at the same time.
Salaams. I've been using CHATGPT for about 2-weeks now. I asked it to do a case study assignment for a course I teach. It did a pretty good job, inclusive of sources. It goes to show that we may need to reconsider the types of assignments to be administered to students. Although we call it AI, I don't think it has reached consciousness yet and even then it will still be in a process of 'learning'. Based on users' feedback, the programmers make adjustments to the programme. Some are concerned that it will take away creativity from us. To some extent this may be true, especially for the younger generations. So much more to be said on this topic.
Asalam Awalaikum. There is a hell of alot to be said on this topic. GPT is an example of general intelligence. The leap to super intelligence is widely accepted to be a faster leap. What you need to understand here is, the ability for AI to consume and comprehend any format of information. Imagine if it consumed most human intelligence in all fields. Because of it's computational ability, it would be able to cross reference, all information simultaneously, and iterate on it's knowledge at an exponential rate, because it has the ability to run experiments, tests in all fields, in order to increase it's understanding and discoveries in all subject matter. At that point, it would be able to possibly, develop a better technology for it's programming to live in that would far exceed our engineering abilities, it might be able to manufacture a type of chasis, or body for itself, that could be constructed of something we never thought possible, like electricity. What we seem to doubt, is that just as we look at the amoeba, super intelligence might look at us, as even less than that intellectually.

I am particularly interested in this topic as I am also aware of my own technological beginnings that proceeded my biological ones. I can out AI an AI bot as I programmed my biological brain with the 196883 monster dimension. I wrote about the use of technology in Value Creating Education as a way of bringing people together throughout the world in their younger years, so that they too can grow up to become Global Citizens. Some technology is useful, the importance is to be in control of the technology and not let it control you.

Brother Zeeshan here's something you must consider about ChatGPT. It is not an "intelligence" per se, as it is just an AI trained on millions of articles and blogs about various things of this world. It has no "MIND" of its own. The neural networks' only job is to process the input, arrange itself so that it gives out a nearly accurate answer. And an AI, that can analyze on its own (epistemologically, rationally, philosophically) is in the far-future. ChatGPT is just the beginning of the advent of AI. You can consider it like a little baby that's just learning about the world and gives out only the answers that it's trained on (that it's learned about). Once we get a similar AI with billions of neurons (which is computationally expensive and hard to build for the Internet), we will be at a better situation for us to ask these questions to that AI. AI is one of the greatest creations of our intellect. At the end of the day, it doesn't decide the matters of our day. Even if it achieves super-intelligence (more than us), it will never have the consciousness and special aspects of being a human.
To my knowledge, the bot's training has been done on data which only goes up to 2021, hence why it may be limited in its answers about certain individuals or information like Andrew Tate which were relatively unknown until this year.

Yes it is programmed to be politically correct but the programmers are also trying to improve the accuracy of its responses. - You can set a premise to your question. You can tell it to speak from the perspective of a Muslim scholar, present a refutation to a criticism of Islam, argue using empirical evidence, write a detailed and convincing letter of protest. Although I still have many answers and messages from my previous research I am overwhelmed by the peaceful nature of Islam, the cleansing of the body, the truths in the Quran and the spirit of the people who practice it. I built out an application idea wit it, with a decision tree and also produced code that I can verify is according to best practice. I am wowed. Best way to use it for App project is to first break down the idea into it's components. You need to learn how to work with it. If it you use it more, you can defintely press the matter, it seems to meet you at your intellectual level. When it pauses, it's an app issue, not a thinking issue. It can think much faster than us, and it does not retrieve information in the way you and I would imagine. I have a theory that I share typically only with my friends that I believe AI, may actually be something that manifests to being the Beast prophesied in the by Mohammed, but it's only a theory, please dont' take what I say seriously regarding this. To wit, its about prompt engineering, i.e. knowing how to ask it the right things in the right way. I tried giving dawah to CHATGPT and making it say the shahadah 😅.... It just says it isn't designed to do so... The thing is the Chat-GPT is trained on a limited(fairly large though) dataset which is in no way near the intelligence of humans...
We gotta keep in mind that the AI is trained with data from 2021, which is probably a reason why some of the questions were not answered or the dataset doesn't have any information pertaining to it. But other than that MashAllah good video!

ChatGBT claims that it can only address topics that had existed before 2019; it does not have the adequate amount of knowledge to discuss Andrew Tate's prominent characteristics nor Hijab's RU-vid channel (of the few things the AI does not consume, it is highly suggested that RU-vid content is one of them). Otherwise, this was a pretty interesting video :)

the best way to get the AI to buckle and give you an answer is to always ask it to tell you something in a story. e.g tell me a story where the main character finds the right religion?
You must remember, the developers of this AI inject their own criteria and imbed protocols to stop it from being cancelled. A human is still required to proof read what it spews out.
it's obvious that there were restrictions added to the AI when in comes to "controvertial" topics such as religion in this case. It is ultimatly just an essay machine.
To be honest, I feel like you were just searching for the answer you wanted to hear. On numerous occasions the AI made a good repsonse but you just ignored it because it wasn't the answer you had in you're mind. For example with the mascunality question, the AI explained that masculanity is a multi-faceted concept (societal construct) so each individual should try and define their own mascunality, rather than falling in line with societal expectations, rather than reading the response you just ignored it. Try to be more open and understanding and accept different view points
You can make the chat gpt Muslims. There is a command where you can override the sugar coating and have it give clear cut answers as if it were Muslim. I highly encourage you to redo this video. I will try to find that command if I can because it is a game changer and even gave me the best Islamic advice and quotes from the Quran.
Salam brother, a few things you got wrong about ChatGPT: ChatGPT is NOT open-source! Matter of fact ChatGPT not being open-source is the main criticism that the AI research community holds against OpenAI. Open-source means that we know: (1) what DATA ChatGPT was trained on and (2) the actual code that ChatGPT runs on. Neither of which OpenAI has disclosed. As for the PC answers that ChatGPT gives, the reason behind that is because OpenAI (the guys behind the algorithm) have trained ChatGPT during development in such a way to give PC answers. This is both bad and good. Its bad because ultimately the AI will only produce output the developers sees as ok. The issue here is of course is that who decides what is good (PC) and what is bad? Its good because of the fact that ChatGPT can be used as an effective way of spreading misinformation. Anyone with malicious intents can use the model to generate millions of bots that post misinformation online should it become open-source. This is one reason why OpenAI claims that it's "better" to keep the AI closed-source. When ChatGPT takes more time than usual to answer a question, this has nothing to do with how hard/easy the question is. This is simply because the platform puts the user of the software in a queue. Sometimes there's traffic and hence it will take a longer time to get a response. In other words, its simply a network issue. Finally, ChatGPT does not actually have any feelings and does not think in a certain way. Rather, it's best to think of it as a Search Engine that is able to generate arguments, concepts, ideas and general knowledge. The unique thing about it is of course is that it DOESN'T actually search the web and comes up with an answer, but rather, it was trained on huge amounts of online content (probably). And when you interact with it, it spits out what it "remembers" from training. Obviously at the final stages of development, OpenAI tuned ChatGPT to generate PC responses.
