Peter, have you watched Orville? Kaylon’s once was robots created by biological humans for helping them. They were also created with pain receptors and were abused by humans. So the robots killed all the humans on that planet. I think it has a possibility to go that way.

ETH, SOL, ADA, etc. Didn't arise to solve a BTC scalability issue, they arose because the ETH devs wanted to build a decentralized internet computer. They're all crypto, yeah, but Bitcoin is an apple while the others Salim cites are oranges. Why is everyone messing around with robots that only have two legs? Four leg robots are obviously an easier thing to do in terms of balance and probably leverage for lifting and carrying, etc. Am I missing something?

1:11:55 I kind of skeptical on the whole debt bomb thing The reason being is that there's a few mechanisms that the Federal reserve can use. The beginning of an unraveling will of course send a signal to lower interest rates dramatically and then when no interest rates go down will then the servicing the debt also goes down. If it's not advisable to lower interest rates too much because of inflationary pressures well then there's another mechanism that could be used and that is the Federal reserve could simultaneously use quantitative easing on federal debt while raising interest rates in general to counter bounce the inflationary effects of that. And then of course this would be pretty bad but you could always go to the weimer Republic or Zimbabwe model of just issuing enough extra currency to keep covering all that. Then of course the hopefully the most likely thing it could happen is that AI essentially brings down the cost of production and increases a GDP enough so then the debt basically becomes easier to service because of vastly increased productivity and then also with deflation then you can issue a bit more currency without it being too much of a problem.

1:08:01 The real inflection point is going to be if and when self-driving taxis can bring the cost of taking a taxi way way down because of the fact that you have eliminated the human labor. Imagine a point in which many people will say Will I want to buy a car and want to pay for the insurance the maintenance and the fuel or electricity or gasoline whatever it is. If it gets to the point to where people will forego actually owning an automobile because the fact that it's cheaper to just simply call a robotaxi to take you back and forth here and there once in a while, or even daily, that is going to be very disruptive. Imagine a scenario where you save about $500 a month by not owning a car.

Bitcoin tries to merge crypto with custodial services. Basically store of value but use middlemen to do transactions. Ethereum is building peer to peer networks that allow people to interact permissionlessly. These are not the same things. I don't care much for the lab grown meat. I'm biased as I raise free range, on pasture poultry, and permaculture gardening. Very healthy! I imagine that lab grown meat will be comparable to hydroponic tomatoes. Hydroponic tomatoes sound great until you take a bite and then taste one I've grown. Great conversation guys 💯🔥

1:00:35 A robot?? You got a wife already, to vacuum, shop, etc... but you want a HUMAN robot to do all those things? What you might want is a humanoid bot to do what YOU do outside. That would be help. A human bot with all that capacity and intelligence and you was to waste in those menial things a wife does?? If you can F that bot you need nothing else, since as stated, evolution optimized for survival and reproduction, if the bot has an artificial womb, done deal. Cleaning and such takes very little time though, any MEN who has lived alone for a time, or years can attest to that; women lied when they told men housekeeping, or being a house wife was too hard or DIFFICULT... It is a breeze, even if you include cooking and whatever else you might think women told you was too hard to do.. And living alone become a true blessing as the years go by. So now this bot will do THAT, what women used to do, but it is wayyyy more informed (intelligent?) than a human, so... game over. No more spending on dates or trips to attempt to keep her happy. She can go ask a bear for help and sustenance, and a relationship.

I agree that our animals are fed crap and that’s bad for us. But whenever I eat anything men created I get very sick. For me to trust man made meats would be terrifying. When I see the amount of crappy ingredients on the packages I can’t even imagine putting that junk in my mouth. I do not dare touch it. You guys go ahead and eat it and leave the real beef for me.
