getting into a normal collage and hearing about placement issues is common. But with years of hard work getting into a collages like IITS and getting to know there a 35% placement decline is a bullshit. Any comment on this?
i can give a example on this: Consider there is a farmer who hire some labour to work in his field ,few days went by he started to know there are new farming techniques like tractor, drones etc... which can save his money on labour and time,by this no of people hiring by farmer is decreased , he started hiring people ho knew new techniques and new machinery, note that he didn't completely stoped hiring he decreased the count. similarly farmers=companies New techniques, machinery=new technology Few hired people are who kept them up-to-date with changes
My opinion is that, the coding instustry has developed so much just because of it's huge community, if jobs get reduced by 80-90% the community will obviously get reduced. Then this may happen 1. Reduce in community support The future solutions posted on stack overflow will get reduced, i think AI can't solve a problem creatively on its own. So that will require humans of course. 2. Reduction in innovation Devin is a great servant, but it can't create it's own ideas for softwares. It will give u a software that gets the job done. But it won't give you something that people will like. To certain point we can agree Devin is gonna create a impact. But if it makes one job in software engineering go away, another job will get a high demand. Even new jobs may appear. Until a AI is found that can think like a man. Until that human is not doomed.
I have been telling the same since chat gpt arrived. I have been extensively using it . I think devin and whatever comes after devin will be beginning of the end. This will effect india a lot, as our IT is more focused on service and support roles. Optimistically i think may be 2 years and my estimate is 1 year. As you mentioned a lot of reduction in it jobs will happen. I don't know what people will do. A lot of colleges removed core branches all together from circulam or limited them.
As a person who has JEE Mains tomorrow (with not so good preparation 😅), i feel, if not immediately, but in near future the tag of iit and nit won't matter much (IT'S A PERSONAL OPINION, KOI GAALI NAHI DEGA) because ek banda hai jo normal college se hai but usne kai courses kiye hain, har cheez deep tak usse aati hai, usne leetcode dsa wagerah sab chaat daale hain, he will have much higher preference in placement than any tier 1 college student jisne bas apne college tag ke bharose 4 saal maze kiye hain. That's why even though i know ki kal mera paper utna achcha nahi jayega, i am not very tensed because the future product will depend on what i have done in those 4 years, not on the college completely. @Sankhokun what is your opinion?
@@vpnuser5399to kya ab exam hogyi na college bhi mil gya tab bhi samjh nhi aya ki JEE chutiya banane ki scheme hai IIT B me 36% placed nhi huye apna kaam kar Bhai skills develop kr maze kar KB Tak ye IIT nit ke randi rone krta rhega
@@vpnuser5399 Yes IK very well , and I also know that it matters what you are good at , it doesn't matter how you got there. (unless you have a storytelling channel to sell the story)
Technically it's the engineers eating up their own job by developing bots, a negative feedback loop......not to offend but just a circumstantial opinion.
You informed us by giving update of Devin AI Did you got to know about AI Devika? People in the race of creating the best AI are slowly in the path of replacing themselves!
What's intriguing is our approach to marketing Devin, despite the fact that none of us actually use Devin in our daily work. The real question is whether our children or anyone else really needs to go to college if Devin is going to handle everything. If colleges can't generate revenue because Devin is now the programmer, teacher, and lawmaker, then we have a significant problem. What does that mean for our children? I believe Devin is overhyped, as many businesses still don't use AI and there aren't enough AI developers to meet the demand. It feels like we're providing free advertising just to shut down what was already established.
AI cant compare with the refinement of humans, it is same as "calculators will replace mathematics!" Thing, yes jobs may be decreased but the field wont be eliminated
Brother calculators are not supposed to develop mathematical theories and proofs. It’s designed to increase the speed and accuracy of calculations. Almost Every shop used to have an extra guy to do the calculations, that job is no more, why do you think?
@@Sankhokun not saying on my own but, it was a pretty popular word of mouth which spread alot in 20th century, even if you neglect that part, AI taking over jobs would increase unemployment and government wouldn't allow such thing to happen
@@Sankhokun that is one thing, rampant unemployment can cause riots and we already know what kind of a country we live in, government might set a limit and it might/might not enforce that, given that circumstances aren't good nowadays too, you are done if you did your engineering from a tier 3 college, skills might come handy but in majority of cases, graduates from big colleges like IITs and NITs don't face hassles in finding jobs whereas a graduate from a normal college will, but at the end of the day, we can't predict what's going to happen, given 5 years we could come to a conclusion. So everyone is uncertain about that. We could only wait and watch
@@theblackswordsman420 My guy, the government has no time even to look after education and healthcare, if for sure wouldnt look after this AI bs as well 🤡typical Indian system. Well the reality is reality, we are at the initial stages, in the coming 5-6 years things will develop even more, we cant live in a bubble no more
Yaar this AI hype is overrated. I know software development jobs would reduce in number but new jobs would be created. You just have to upgrade your skills. When newspapers sales dropped due to competition from news channels many of them focused on their online websites. RU-vid didn't kill TV channels, those channels shifted to RU-vid. Bollywood exists despite Hollywood making better movies because they cater to a particular audience. Duniya me jab tak log rahenge your Jobs aren't going anywhere. Just that the nature of those jobs is going to change. People did business even when we did not have the concept of money, it was called the barter system. So just focus on creating something or work for someone who is creating something which other people need. Companies with AI can mass produce something but they would need consumers to sell that "something". And if there is no consumer then there is no product. Also, most of the companies requiring software developers create digital products. Just look at Apple and their phones, do you really need Phones with such exorbitant price tags. Most of the high earning developers used to splurge their income on things which they don't need to impress some one they don't like. Social media giants like Facebook are creating Metaverse which no one wants to use. Tell me one person who is addicted to Metaverse. Google is surviving on money from ads running on RU-vid and Google search. Amazon is surviving by selling virtual servers through its AWS business. Most of these companies are just selling snake oil. They are just Telling you to buy stuff by invoking a fear of missing out. Cold drink companies earn millions by selling sugar syrup laced with some caffeine. Do you really think human nature is ever going to change. they would keep consuming stuff. AI may things a bit difficult but this doesn't mean you have to become a doomsayer. If AI really creates MNCs which don't need people then they won't be able to sell anything to the masses. And if they somehow manage to sell it to other rich people and abandon the rest of the junta then who is stopping you to create something and cater to the needs of the millions of jobless and hopeless people.
bhaiya im in 12th and i have a few qns if you could please answer and correct me of im wrong 1) maybe sde jobs will go but jobs in ai ml will be of great demand right? 2)should i prefer btech in AI over cse? or should i take a look on core branches? 3)by the time i get a job itll take 4-5years, do you think theres gonna be jobs left and is there even a future in it? and im just in 12th and ik based on only the youtube videos and idk the reality, since you have been in the field u may be knowing the reality.
cricketer hi ban jaana chaiye tha yaar ,compete karne mai maaza to aata hai atleast , safe future bolke ye kidhar ghus gya mai. btw a genuine doubt , what's your opinion on electronics industry being the next big thing.
Ig painters too would have felt this when cameras came to market, but ofcourse painters aren't jobless rn number of painters decreased but there are many nee jobs because of cameras

We have all been forced aboard a barely tested ai rocketship, whose mechanics can't explain how the components actually arrive at it's incredible performance, equipped with gauges that are mostly right, but often lie...can teach itself things we aren't fully aware of yet...contains a gas pedal that is capable of speeds that are so fast that it can destroy many aspects of humanity and doesn't have a limiter on it...whose design specs are available for criminals to craft equivalent rocket ships without any safety features, and exponentially flying faster and faster to an unknown destination hoping that nothing will break and that all will be just fine? Got it.
For a minute, Let's imagine AI will replace 9/10 jobs related to tech. Coding and all... But there's also a need to update and launch new AI tools. So, i think there's a huge gap and opportunity in upcoming years. Ha, i know there's risk, but also a spark of hope... @Sankho what do you think. 🤔
Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence. Pick your degree from these fields or closely related to these fields. These are the fields in which AI is not that proficient yet, rest of the fields are going to be replaced majorly by AI in the near future.
@@yourfriend2344 They are not impossible to learn but are difficult for a non tech background person. It all depends upon these factors: 1- how much interest you have in these fields 2- How longer you can try if you seem stuck or uninterested in it 3- How passionate you are about these fields. So start, learn the basics and see if it suits you or grabs your interest and if you become passionate to learn it. If it suits you then alright otherwise you will need to quit it without wasting a lot of time because time is also important. Sometimes in life you have to take risks if you can afford a failure. But if you can't afford or bear a failure in the risk's outcome then don't try it. So it's upto you, go for it considering all these factors.
To bhaiya problem statement to bata diya but abhi computer science leke betha hu 2nd sem me low reputation wale pvt college me then aage kya krna chahiye 😭😭. Should i focus on learning programming skills or will they be just a waste of time
Bhai should I opt for CSE after 12th.... Do you think that jobs like ethical hacking and cyber safety related jobs might not be handed over to AI, since there is a risk of data breach and larger companies may not trust some newly established AI for their data safety??
I think you should explore other fields, I choose the cse after my 12 th.U have to understand that there is so much competition but if you think you can leave out everything and be ready for it so ur choice 😅
I don’t think that we should opt for it if there is not interest… kyuki interest ke bina to top 1% me pahuchne se rahe aur agar interest develop krna hai to usi me bahut time lag jayega …. if u really want to do cse & think that yea you can cope up with the competition then u should, otherwise explore more options , kami nhi hai options ki ….
I am deeply passionate about programming.... 9-10th mein Html, css, JS seekhi thi aur famous websites like ko copy karne ka try karta tha.... For practice... 11-12th mein CS main subject tha to python fundamentals kaafi clear hain... Alg se thoda bhot oops aur DSA v seekha tha.... But problem is ki ab programming jobs mein itna decline dekhke lg rha hai ki syd 4 saal engineering khtm karne tk most jobs jaa chuki honge.... That is what troubles me😢
Hii I am in third year of my diplomain computer technology and after i finish this I will get admission in second year of degree should u seggest me to change the branch as I am not in top 10 or not even in top 20
I'm currently preparing for jee 2025. I wanted Ai branch but after watching this video I'm a little scared. Bhaiya can you please suggest me a branch which will be beneficial for me in the near future?
what a website developer beginner learn in todays day and age to stay relevant bro ? Is learning the general things with efficieny better or I should learn new technology like generative Ai or technology to host Ai content ? I am aleardy learning DSA though almost 70 % of it but not sure which direction is right ? please enlight
It's a very good question. You should go for any of these, Data Science, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence or Machine learning because these fields are somewhat a bit future proof at least for the near future as of now. Rest of the fields are going to be replaced majorly in the near future by AI.
Hi, how will data analyst or data scientist job will get influenced by AI? I heard it requires thinking and creativity unlike coding. Im not sure of its true. What do you think? Btw liked video!
Please answer Hi ,my question not related to this video but my pretty sure you can give me some answer I am currently studying BTech 2 year in haydrabad so can I get into IIT for mtech is there any value for mtech from IIT now-a-days and how it will help me help me out.
C'mon I have taken science just finished with class 12 boards now I am thinking I should've taken commerce stream atleast if I was gonna laid then I wouldnt have to struggle this much. I mean where will all the software engineers go? Not everyone can open a roadside shop pls I am very confused if anyone could help me.
After watching almost a million videos on this topic, i really am clueless abt what should i do ahead. Because comp sci or IT is definitely not what i see myself doing in the next decade and i only got here cuz i couldnt think of anything else to do when i took admission. I dont know what to do in life. This thing really bothers me, like a lot.
