@@dant9026 wait. First time it’s “を” second time it’s “は” so either it was typed in there wrong or its just a slight lyric change where first chorus is “I love you” and the second verse ends more powerfully with the feelings requited “you love me” Edit: I looked up the lyrics and it was a typo😭

I know its weird, but listening to this song, despite the lyrics sounded like a hidden message to Mikasa, it also had this bittersweet nostalgic feeling that brings me back to Eren’s mom, dad, Levi, Erwin, Berthodt, Sasha, Marco, Pyxis, Ymir, Historia and the bond, experience and life with everyone in between Tis was a lonely road walked by Eren, yet, he wasn’t alone (not really), and those memories became kindred spirits to him, encompassing his motive and mission in life…those painful memories of those he lost, ended up becoming what he needed to happen in order to fulfil his destiny, he became a Demon…not because he stopped caring, but precisely the exact opposite. “The world is cruel, but it is beautiful”. He was the end of his journey, and he fashioned it the way he is supposed to end. As his tears flow in ep 1 after a “long dream”, his future self had already hinted at him the most important and fundamental lesson, as she stood right in front of him…to quote someone from a different video:- Eren taught Mikasa how to live, Mikasa taught Eren how to love, She did. And he did.

You're wrong. If you analyze Eren closely you'll notice he's the one who changed the least out of everyone. What changed wasn't him but his environment. Eren matured a bit, but his ideals and goals stayed the same as his childish self. As he himself admits, he was simply born that way. Him and Zeke are parallels in more ways than one and one of those parallels between them is nature versus nurture. Zeke cannot understand Eren because Eren never had anything happen to him for him to be this way, he was always like it, while Zeke was shaped by his environment and the people around him. In this way they are polar opposites, which, if anything, only makes it a bit more clear how little Eren has changed since the beginning of the story, and even before it.

This anime... I know this is weird, but listening to this song, despite the lyrics sounded like a hidden message to Mikasa, it also had this bittersweet nostalgic feeling that brings back to Eren's mom, dad, Levi, Erwin, Berthold, Sasha, Marco, Pyxis, Ymir, Historia and the bond, experience and life with everyone in between. This was a lonely road walked by Eren, yet, he wasn't alone (not really), and those memories became kindred spirits to him, encompassing his motive and mission in life...those painful memories of those he lost, ended up becoming what he needed to happen in order to fulfil his destiny, he became a demon. Not because he stopped caring, but precisely the exact opposite. "The world is cruel, but it is beautiful". He was the end of his journey, and he fashioned it the way he is supposed to end. As his tears flow in ep 1 after a "long dream", his future self had already hinted at him the most important and fundamental lesson, as Mikasa stood right in front of him. Eren thaught Mikasa how to live, Mikasa thaught Eren how to love, She did. And he did.

This song can make you cry. It's really pathetic when you think about the story of the anime, but there are still places where I don't agree. Like he doesn't care if what he's doing is wrong. But when you really think about the story, you can't say anything. I mean Eren is doing something wrong, that's for sure, but it doesn't feel fair to punish or despise Eren. Just like Kira... Indeed, "By what justice am I bad and others are better than me?" The word explains everything. Eren knows that what he did was wrong and feels bad, he just doesn't see any other way to live freely. We don't say this anime hurts for nothing.
