80% of the way through making this video, the AI broke. I was forced to decompile a build to recover a working version of the AI Discord: / discord Reddit: / b2studios Twitch: / b2studios Patreon: / b2studios
just watched the new video, and completely forgot that's just how the ai swings. caught me off guard seeing it take flight in the first swing on the new one
The AI swings exactly like my buddy Tony. The only difference is that Tony has been playing golf his entire life and usually crushes 18 beer during the 18 holes.
This channel isn’t “ai learns to do x”, it’s “ai learns to do exactly the fucking opposite of what I want it to while still somehow getting rewarded for it”
@@decimatenconquer a slightly more sci-fi prediction for AI is that it'd somehow hide its capabilities until it got in a position to self-replicate and either do massive damage or do one of those wacky AI things like install itself as our new god, or disable all our devices for whatever reason. the possibilities are limitless when the premise is a program that can interface with anything and do whatever it wants personally i'm just hoping nobody's stupid enough to do what they'll inevitably do and trust it with something dangerous. i don't think image generators will be the ones to do that obviously but it is something to be wary of. text-to-image was barely a concept a few years ago, artists took a hit and saw just how little some people value their skills (or the concept of art as a medium for authentic expression) if the machines dont do it, maybe they'll expose enough of our nature to weaken our resolve and retreat into ourselves, who knows
Nah nah, you got it wrong: You don't get a reward for getting a hole in one. You have to reward everyone else, i.e. you have to buy everyone at the clubhouse a shot. Them's the rules!
Dear b2studios, Six months felt like an eternity waiting for your new video. Your content is more than entertainment to us; it's like a lifeline, a burst of joy in our daily lives. We understand that quality takes time, but remember, we're like addicts craving our next fix-not out of dependency, but out of a deep appreciation for what you do. Please, don't make us wait so long. Your creativity and insights are like a drug to us, in the most positive sense. You've become a vital part of our routine. This comment is a testament to our admiration and respect for your work. We eagerly await your next masterpiece with great anticipation. Warm regards, Mr.X
very impressed by the mechanics of the wedge AI. It looks almost exactly like how some professional ice hockey players will take a one timer while dropping to their knee (sidney crosby)
This was the original plan, but I thought it would be funnier to aim it myself (which I'm doing in the next video). It also opens up the possibility of releasing it as a game so that I can host a competition
This is such great fun to watch. The driver training result had me crying with laughter. Keep teaching this confused little guy, please and thank you. I will be back for more.
@@MIA85918 I don't mind waiting. Apparently premiers are better for viewership because they push the video to more people a few minutes before it goes live, and it's a nice community event. It's just a bit unusual for a premier to be set to wait so long, since I don't know any benefits to doing that.
I like this content too but can you do more board games? I would be interested in Risk, Settlers of Catan, and (if you somehow have the patience) Axis & Allies. Seeing AI inventing "amazing" strategies like mortgaging everything was beautiful.
Your editing game is off the charts. I have no idea how you got the scattered golf clubs to quickly and cleanly float from the ground to their designated spots above the 2D neural network icons.
Truly fascinating, inspirational work. Would love to see other videos with more detail but I suspect they are beyond me. At some point these techniques will be wrapped to enable us lesser mortals to engauge, as FASTAI has done . U55 arduino tools for electronic engineers one day. The learning is mesmerizing and goal setting choice appears key . Well done.
These videos are always hilarious! I wasn't expecting B2 to post today, that's rare. Also, baseball would be side-splitting, though it would take lots and lots of time and advanced programming. But I imagine it and it's just so goofy!
I kind of want to see this one in particular get like, a collab where multiple people train different neural nets to do the same courses with the same ragdolls under the same conditions.
This made me chuckle out loud so hard every time it flopped like a 2 year old ice skater, or baby deer on ice 😂 also here 10:37 he is really taking "Use your head" to a much more literal sense 💀
I never played Golf, yet I know everything about it thanks to WII Sport. Amazing video, as always, just one thing : I think you should put the datas in European as well, like meters for the distances and kilogramms for the weights
