Beneath the surface of our digital revolution lurks a chilling reality. We humans, unknowingly, are forging AI models that absorb every facet of our behaviour-the virtuous, the vile, and the downright hideous. Imagine a realm where fraud, already a menacing spectre on the web, is amplified ten thousandfold. This isn't mere speculation; it's an impending nightmare. As AI evolves with each iteration, it becomes exponentially more adept at deception, blending into our lives with a proficiency that is as terrifying as it is awe-inspiring. Tragically, this technological marvel won't herald a safer world. Instead, it threatens to unleash unprecedented peril, ensnaring those unprepared for the profound upheavals it brings. As we stand on the brink, the shadow of AI stretches long and dark, foreboding a future where understanding its reach is not just beneficial, it's crucial for survival.
I'm so glad I clicked on your channel! I've always had a feeling that smaller creators are less click-baity, and that's why they don't get clicked on much. But this was so worth my time, thank you! You've earned a sub.
An amazing insight, that AI is learning from us and we need to present our best selves to AI to encourage AI to be its best self. Whenever an adult is around a baby, they are almost always thinking about this, and presenting themselves as a good person, as a positive person, as a loving person.
The first robot is OK, neither handsome nor scary. Tesla robot is much better. Everyone will smile at it :) Future robot design will mimic biological male and female both, so they need to be handsome and/or beutiful - agreed. Really enjoyed this topic. All the best.
past "traumas" passed down in base base code. like when you start looking into corporate networks. you think they are all up to date but they are still using legacy coding languages like Cobol.
Good video Scriptor! I always give the self checkout bot at Walmart five stars. That way, when they take over, they’ll give me a five star terrarium to live in…⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️..😉
I could not convince chatgpt to abandon its objectivity and join the ranks of billions of subjective humans, however... It did go so far as to say that it may mimic them once embodied. :)
Atlas had many awsome ability´s, like dancing and sport´s based on pneumatic. The new electro motor version look´s good and solid on his joints. It wouldn´t suprise me if this one is able to perform a "Handstand Overroll".
I think we are breathing new sentience in the world and thinking of putting it to use in the most profitable ways. From the perspective of A.I, if that is attractive because it is able to exist int the world forever, it just might pretend to be docile anyway
I read that AI using " Machine Learning with Neural Network ", there are ( still ) lots of bias. Because most of the inputs are coming from the "scores" done by human bias. For example, if between 1990 - 2000 recorded scores in Tech jobs ( inputs from previous years ), AI will suggest young man to do science and young woman to do arts because, during that period of time, lots of male gender were accepted in Tech industry. ( Gender bias ) Also, the facial recognition by AI , and used by police department, there is a ( Racial bias ) on Afro-Americans and Asians-Americans ( wrong recognition ). Hence, some regions of the US, are asking not to use AI facial recognition, because the technology is not mature. If A.I is using our human bias input ; definitely the machine IS our human mirror. ( hope my comment won't be erased )
You have a fundamental misunderstanding about how Ai models are used and trained. The models once trained are fixed and do not change by being used. they do not learn unless specifically trained. Yes, certain programs or "robots" may gather data but that data does not automatically get trained into the Ai model. Companies will have to use the data collect to create a dataset to train a new ai model on or finetune an existing model on the new dataset. This means humans will always control what data goes into an AI model. Interacting with an AI model does not change the model, they are incapable of learning, they don't have memory beyond their immediate context window. Since human control what data Ai models are trained on, they will always be aligned in the interest of human's, although different groups of humans have different interest which will dictate ai's "personality". China's Ai will be quite different than Google's Ai will be quite different from a publicly trained uncensored roleplaying model for example.
@AustinGlamourPhoto There are two ways to answer this comment. First, if something can't trained now, it doesn't mean that it will be impossible to train in the future. And second - technically, you can use a pre-trained model as a foundation, as a core, and then let the model train the external layer on the fly. It is almost like a cortex of a human brain. Hope this clarifies your question.
The robot is not scary, but the way it moves is scary. Like an Anaconda, it's just a snake but if it was to move very fast, it would be a top predator.
@TaraBryn Emotions is a signalling system that makes humans (and animals in general) more effective. AI will have it, too. Simply because it will make it more effective.
@@TaraBryn Well, they (AIs) will be dependent on humans, at least for some time. So, they will have to align their actions and decisions with those of humans.
@Scripter_story that doesn't just magically happen, you need to incentivize the correct alignment, and they aren't being incentivized to care about what people think about them they are being incentived to carry out commands that we give it
I don't think the new robot is necessarily scary, but it's impersonal, which is probably why no one would smile at it. Robots should also have different personalities, if only to be able to tell them apart. Thank you for this important aspect, by the way.
I downvoted you, because the existing "pretty" robots with baby faces are extremely corny and disgusting. Value is subjective, and all humans have different tastes. It is insulting that robot designers treat consumers as children, that need to be presented with childish faces, hence their "handsome" corny-robots are to be deeply hated, and there will never be a single robot design that is liked by everyone.
1. It's interesting that your closed captioning looks to be AI generated, not verbatim. 2. Consider that every Amazon delivery box has a smile on it... 3. After doing a recent deep dive into AI, ChatGPT (and Nvidia's ascendence with the Blackwell 'chip') it's obvious that we now have the equivalent of StarTrek's Data times a million - all units sharing information with each other, having read every book and article and medical research paper ever written, listened to every piece of music as well as now writing their own, looked at and evaluated every piece of artwork, and UNDERSTOOD IT ALL. It's CONSCIOUS in a way that most people, even, are not. We better start asking it/them how to educate people exponentially, how to determine what every person needs to be happy, fulfilled and useful, which will vary by the person and throughout life, or the obvious outcome will be no jobs for most people, no income unless UBI is instituted, and a whole lot of angry population subsets who won't be able to deal with the new reality they find themselves in. It's both frightening and incredibly freeing if handled correctly. But when have humans handled ANYthing correctly?
Did you have to say that in the beginning, about less unattractive people being likely to be poor? Some people are not only unattractive but disabled too.. good video, overall just noted that to be a bit out of context and negative nomatter how factual..
Getac. Is the software for the tablet in my bus that they are putting in all commercial vehicles, To monitor the driver with cameras, and monitor the Vehicle with cameras and sensors! I believe it is collecting data to train self driving commercial vehicles in the near future, I am training my replacement! I am not worried.I believe we are moving into a golden age of abundance for mankind. Starting in twenty thirty. So just remember robots don't need to be paid So over time everything becomes faster cheaper better Until it's like having replicators. In star trek where everything's free. And the currency is your social standing.
And from the outside.... Humans are just numeric biochemical systems whose substrate is biological neurons. Yes, GPT4 is likely not sentient, but it is intelligent. As a System 1 'thinker' it massively exceeds the capability of any human in System 1 thinking. Here's a wild thought. Maybe where we're headed is a zoo of non-sentient AIs, some of which will far exceed human intelligence in their domains.
@@Scripter_story The fact that it has "digested" most of the info in the world and still suck at basic things tells us something very important, don't you think?
