Very well done Derek and an interesting and well-produced comparison. Technology continues to improve at a rapid rate and see the possible time advantages on a AI mix but still feel the human creative element is a huge asset. You can't discuss the mix with AI and get that objective feedback and advice like you would from a mixer.
damn I actually got the mixes right. i knew B was you, and I knew c was your friend because it seemed "amatuer-ish" while A sounded good but not amazing. B was polished and the vocals and compression was nice.

Shut the fuck up. It's pro if he makes a living out of it. Professional from the word Profession, as in someone's full time job. Don't let that meaning get lost on you, because in the music industry they have a very short list of top level engineers and studios they work with for big artists, 90% of them get left behind no matter how pro or good sounding they are. lose that attitude.
