Don't fall into the trap of the argument that says "jobs bring meaning to peope" it is people who find meaning in an activity of their choosing or not. Having a job can just as much prevent people from finding meaning rather than giving them an opportunity tonfind one. Is all up to people to find meaning. Rich people prove this, with their children, who, depending on their upbringing, can be useless or become great business people or scientists or artists.
Everyone is betting on AI, CBDC's, etc. all of this BUT if the Electrical grid goes down--Where are things at? It would make the story of The Tower of Babel look like prophecy not just a curious ancient story. AI, Quantum computing,, Electronic data basing, would not be accessible. The planetary electric grids are too fragile right now to bet civilization on. Does that make sense?
The problem with acceptance that we will all be using CBDCs at some point is that once we do, we will all be in prison of sorts. Just protecting your investments isn't going to cut it. Maybe for someone like Frank that would work, but for the middle class it won't because we don't have the amount of investments that we can live off of to keep from using a CBDC. Only non compliance will keep us out of that prison.
@@purelight489 decentralised, permission less, borderless, trust-less, transparent economies built on blockchains and based on fixed supply - sound familiar ? - Gold is all well and good BUT not as a medium for value transfer in parallel economy !
Watch out do not accept digital id for CBDC... the global elite are using "climate change" to get us to accept digital id once we accept Digital ID we will be forced into CBDC...and enslavement throught SMART cities and social credits like China and much more...
The one criticism is the miscalculation of China moving on Taiwan. Yes, being excluded from US market would hurt China, but it would hurt the US far more! Name five items you can purchase, outside of agriculture that most Americans use everyday, that isn't made in China? The economic harm would be wrought onto the US. Our economy is based on consumption and if you think toilet paper was short, imagine Walmart or Target being 90% empty because everything is made in China. This is a miscalculation, just like they said Russia would be financially ruined, and their economy is doing better than the UK.
I am ageing myself, gold was $850 in 1987 and only double today. However, there will be a time I will not sell gold for anything but trade for property.
@@jackfrost2190 IF this or that, but we live in the real world. FYI, I sold physical gold I bought in 2015 last week to buy UNG. I am married to one girl, lady now...
The property you trade for will be valued in dollars, so you'd just hand over the corresponding amount of gold at that day's spot price. Basically the same thing as selling the gold and using the cash to buy the property.
The 1990s was the time to buy gold, when it was around $250 for most of that decade. Everyone was playing the stock and real estate markets back then. Had I started buying gold back then, I'd be able to retire now. Instead, I have to work another 10 yrs.
Great show . But one caveat: To say or think that Russia is losing the conflict is wishful thinking! NATO and USA lost the 20 years war in Afghanistan and fighting against a bunch of goat herders. With the occupied country that Russia has invaded is now asking for more weapons from NATO shows that sadly they are losing! Sad but true! Peace is the only solution !
CBDCs will fail because we have alternatives like Bitcoin/Eth/Monero/LTC/Theta/Doge.... There is no logical reason why anyone would use a CBDC over more efficient , faster, and more secure and decentralized currencies. Why would you save in a CBDC? so the central bank can wipe out your savings at the push of a button? like they just did to so many from 2019 to 2023?
My comment is (quite) simple. There are very few channels/interviews I can learn from (relatively speaking), but this is one of them. Attract (more) intellectuals through such quality interviews. End of story.
The hesitancy to take on the CBDC and other issues has been a thing for many years. Woodrow Wilson talked about this in 1913. "Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it." The military-industrial-congessional complex was there long before Eisenhower.
Steve Bannon has been loudly denouncing CBDCs as have others in the crypto space. I was really disappointed that Giustra wasn't more vocal and willing to take on this obvious tool of tyrants.
I really appreciated his insight and agree with him on almost every point, but I was really disappointed with his defeatist attitude - particularly regarding CBDCs. Makori prodded him and made a great point: Giustra has considerable wealth and influence to defeat CBDCs (as well as guide other potentially dangerous technology), yet he punted on this with a glib "the train has already left the station" attitude. CBDCs can be thwarted with concerted effort and we need men like Giustra on board. Too bad he's not willing to take the lead in any way.
CBDC phobics are mostly in the Libertarian Camp, just look the tone in the comments like the one above. " O M G we need to stop this!!!!!!! muh fReEdOm!!! " I can even smell the libertarianism whenever I come here
I was wrong, I thought he was a farmer that collects gold...he is a technologist and way above the norm Quantum Gravity, unifying Quantum Mechanics and Theory of Relativity. As for Michelle, she is indeed a rare, brain and beau in a solid package.
Why can't we just say no?! Of course there will be a price to pay, but aren't our kids worth it? Shouldn't they be our line in the sand? If we don't protect our kids, who will? They're barking up the wrong tree. I don't think they're really going to want to deal with all of the Mamma, & Poppa bears out there who will dare anyone to come near their young! Just try!
Have always enjoyed listening to Frank. States Rights are starting to take hold against CBDC and the nullification of said currency. The smaller people can protest more .
we need to go regional, but we don't need or want to stay stuck there. there will always be a price to pay, probably made in two instalments. the first when the change happens then the second when we are forced to make a decision.
True, yet the days coming when all the gold/ $$$ in the world won't help you. Jesus Christ is lord, king of kings there is no other name by which you can be saved. 🙏🦅⚖️
Frank is one of my favorite people. Such a intelligent and thoughtful person, who can articulate thoughts and ideas for the common man.He deserves to be interviewed by someone as talented as Michelle.
@@Adrian-gs9er I have watched thousands of interviews in my 69 years. No one does it better than Michelle. Sometimes you interrupt to Get the answers you’re looking for and to stay on point. Frank certainly seems to respect her.
@@brandonderrick006 I hope you haven’t lost as much as your buddy Michael on crypto in the last two years. L O L. I knew you were a crypto guy the minute you didn’t like Frank. Go catch your money it’s in cyberspace. Lol
Just amazing this guy , how he successfully straddles so many worlds is mind boggling and the last few minutes the best message .... thanks also to Michelle for drawing out such a deep dive into his world and personality
Great interview that actually touches on how automation and CBDC will come into play as far this and future economic cycles. Most ignore these subjects all together.
Michelle, I love your questions. You are not afraid to ask tough questions. They often have a lot of depth and your follow up questions always get more insights from your guests. You are truly one of the top interviewers❤! I am becoming a fan😂. Keep up the great work and invite the best guests to your show. 🎉👍
Rev 13: 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. 2000 year old words.... is sounding VERY familiar.... VERY quickly.
Frank is a smart guy, but he doesn't know where the real power lies. He thinks it's with the politicians, He is wrong. Too bad for him, but so many aren't willing or able to figure it out It isn't hard. So he is either disingenuous or just not quite intelligent enough.
Smart guy. Most of these smart thinkers (I hate the word analyst because most analysts don't have their own thinking) can be unbiased and clearly see how it is a struggle between Global North trying to stay on top at all costs vs Global South taking their rightful share of world power. Kudos to Michelle as well for playing equal part of a super interesting conversation.
Our currency was originally backed by the gold standard then reduced to a "silver certificate" and finally just a verbal promise. Pretty cheesy scam. Aye??
Sorry Frank - BUT that is rather a selfish cop out to the honest ! - You claim you want to help as many people as possible and that you are concerned about your children’s future ?? - Really ?? - Both you and Michelle have significance influence and there are many around the world who are also have significant influence. You have successfully built teams before, taken significant calculated risk, motivated and educated. If there were ever a time in our lifetimes where cooperated focus and action were required then surely that time is now. - You see clearly the draconian/dystopian future that CBDCs, digital IDs and Social Credits system will bring and yet claim to be powerless to stop it happening. - Sorry, I don’t buy that? - There are more of us than there are of the WEF and their misguided “ young leadership “ delusionals “ - Desperate times call for desperate measures - whether those measures take the form of civil unrest / disobedience or simply withdrawing your vote in so called democratic counties, there are many movements that can be mobilised and corralled in the service of a common goal. Do you really want the privileges of travel, good nutrition, education, free speech, privacy, dissent free market economies and free thinking entrepreneurialism - which we have enjoyed … denied to your children ? 😢
When the Central Bank imposes the Digital currency on us and our paper fiat dollars will become worthless does that mean that the government debt will be wiped out??? Could that be why governments are spending so much paper dollars
There are two many inflated dollars floating around the world to peg the dollar on Gold. It’s to late. Russia and China can peg there currency against gold and commodities with fewer issues since there are less Rubles and Yuan in circulation.
When we do the quantum and we start exploring other worlds that we’re gonna take their resources because we think we can it doesn’t belong to anyone how do you know that? How would you like it if they came here? Well, we decided to take all your resources
I just subscribed to this channel because I watched this interview. Charming lady asking questions that 90% of other journalists do not ask because they work for MSM evil machine.
Out of touch he said if you don't have money just buy gold coins. He could at least say silver if you don't have money you can put together thirty bucks a month. 1800 is a little out of price range for someone living paycheck to paycheck.
Interesting interview between two adults in the room having a common sense discussion.....as opposed to the adolescents that we're used to seeing in the political and mainstream media space. But I have to say that Frank is a little naive to believe that the 8000 tonnes of US gold reserves are actually still there.
I know that buying a farm was a semi-serious joke, but I suspect I’m not the only one wondering how to diversify into a small to medium size farm. I would love to see a bit more on that subject.
Frank keeps His gold under his olive tree 117 in the row 96 on his olive plantation in Tuscany or maybe in Greece... I would hide it in Zimbabwe. A No No Q... Pray for Peace ..
