Great video and good use of AI imagery as inspiration. I think we can stop calling it AI "art" now because using an advanced search to generate imagery isn't art. Creating this photo by designing the headdress, makeup, costume, lighting, and connecting to the model to evoke a powerful image and feeling - that's art.
Big Compliment to Lindsay for using the word "INEXPENSIVE" This is a classy way of saying it is low in cost (so many people say CHEAP and I feel that is the wrong connotation) (CHEAP means to me "low quality").... KUDOS Lindsay Adler !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always Beautiful Creations by Lindsay Adler :) :) :) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful as usual showing that AI can be inspirational, but it's a grab (all these AI art generators), from what ever was created by human artist's before the AI advent. But a reminder to all that it's still needs a human being to be ''prompted'' in order to generate it. Finally original art from the beginning of humanity on this planet till today was created only by living human beings and all what it implies.
It´s so amazing this project you are on, showing we don´t need to be behind techs but use it to favor us and as creative source. No IA can achieve a real soul like a photographer. Normalized images can ´t compete with your talent
Man Adorama recently has been hammering down on specific topics with a few of their presenters lately. I believe first we're grids then gels and now AI.
Rockin' video, Lindsay. I have used AI to create elements for image composites. I think it will be a great tool for us creatives for inspiration and increased resources for our projects.
Ai is merely another tool for sure. Change in anything in life is always a part of what we are. Good or bad depends on your response to it. There will always those that fear it. I think it’s just another opportunity to be creative in a different way.
I love your work, Ms. Adler, Lindsay, and I think it's intelligent without being artificial. In this case, I don't see the AI. Scholastically you might say, but every raw image is converted into an RGB image with AI, my camera's AF works with AI, my camera's automatic exposure works with AI, and I would agree. Photoshop rubber band adjustments - all AI. And now Lightroom can copy AI-selections from one image to another: copy select eye and mask and past into another image with a face. That's fine AI, but it's all not relevant to this video, even when it was applied here. Because it's your creative creation.
This is an interesting application of AI technology. However, if it's not "AI photography" then it isn't "AI art." And by that I mean that images generated by AI systems aren't art just like they aren't photography. Cheers!
Personally, I could care less about AI! If professional photograhers feel intimitead by AI then they might want to consider working on their skillset. If amateur photographers feel threated by AI then photography might not be the right hobby, why? because generaly speaking, a hobby should be fun. Oh and Lindsay Adler just showed that AI is no match if you are willing to learn to enquire skills.
