fun fact: there's a real rail vehicle that looks like "Todpley", basically a steam engine partially fused into a coach. I think they were called steam railcars or something
There's an Australian character called Tamika in Thomas & Friends' Big World Big Adventures series, who is a steam engine fused with a coach. A steam motor coach basically.
Ai voices especially are so weird, like at first it was charming to a certain extent but it’s genuinely fucked when you imagine the type of stuff people can have it say
@joshslater2426 The same way that Eggette (a character made from an upside-down sprite of Dr. Eggman in Sonic Mania) was for the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom.
The Snonce Crongldker would make for a funny creepy pasta character. Like maybe it started life as a regular tractor, but now hunts down engines to add to its body. Maybe he is built out of all the model/storybook trains that didn’t make the transition to CGI, and is trying to get revenge on the CGI trains for abandoning them
I guess this is my take away when it comes to AI. It should only be used as a tool, and not a replacement for actual talent. Let’s take those bizarre wooden railway designs, for example. They may be quite offputting when they are generated, but if someone who asked the AI to make this, then took inspiration from it, and reverse engineer, that they’re only photo shop, or drawing of what the engine could look like as an actual, Thomas Character, but I think that is fine. Because in that case you’re using AI as a tool rather than having to do all the work. Pretty much it’s good for if you’re having trouble coming up with a concept and just want some thing to inspire that creative bone in your body. It can assist the creative process, but a I should never replace talent (It should also be noted that circumstances may vary.)
The “deviled egg” Thomas looks like he’s got the facial expression of someone who ripped a wet fart and is now really hoping it was *just* a fart and not a shart.
3:08: That face looks like Ryan to me. 3:16: When your grandma has a crazy obsession with baking cookies. 4:53: Thomas shippers + James and Caitlin = Jatlin 6:09: James with Nia's face and Hiro's boiler. 7:03: I finally got my Atlantic! 7:43: I think Toby is in pain now... 8:51: If Smudger returned to CGI and other stories. 10:24: Trainsformers Jack and the pack edition.
This video is why I always found AI art the laziest form of art. But at the same time, I also think this video is a wonderful watch to poke fun at AI art and take some funny reactions on the most cursed garbage in history.
I seriously think I could make a story with "The Snonce Crongldker" and "Crane" I seriously think I could write some stuff with it. And DON'T WORRY I will include Mr. Percival and his sentient machine gun
The only AI I can always get behind are ones for spelling and grammar checking. But in media and art, good god no way! Give that sort to actual human beings. At this rate AI in art and media should be illegal.
I can understand that sentiment in you’re using it to straight-up outsource, but if you’re an actual writer who just needs some help with execution of your own ideas, that’s different.
If this is like cursed products of like that, I would say ai is very not we wanted but Hollywood wanted like this being greedy, but still seeing these of Thomas in an ai is cursed like a demon rell
The Snonce Crongldker is basically the Megazord for the Really Useful Power Pack. Diesel 10: Ah, after ten years I'm free! It's time to conquer Sodor and destroy the Steamies! Ms. Jenny: Mr. Percival, Diesel 10 has escaped. Recruit a group of construction machines with attitude!
Hi trainboy whats up. I love ur videos my friend. There the best. Ai is kinda different. But love ur trains my friend. Keep being awesome. But yes its cursed
I feel like with abit of work some of these AI engines could be characters. Like Imagine Crane as a engine for the Sodor Scenic Railway. A modified engine built from old parts
Crane would be a very unique little prototype. A custom made 0-6-4 who works for an obscure little colliery on the island. There’s some story potential.
This video came out at a perfect time for me cos today I went to a swap meet and got a bunch of Thomas toys I'm proud of, and I came across another adult Thomas fan who knew all about the Plarail and Track master stuff and also knew of Ferdinand, the most popular, fan favourite character in the franchise's history.
I’m not gonna lie: those wooden railway ones could pass for bootleg models. Like those sort of Chinese reproductions that don’t quite get the characters right.
2:23 Name: Link Model: 4-6-6-4 Tender model: 2 pairs of 3 wheel axles Top speed: 160 MPH Location: Tidmouth Docks Maximum car limit: 6,782 Strength:10 (max) (Keep in mind this is the concept and yes he still has smoke reflectors) Color: Emreald green Lamps: 🔳 🔳🔳🔳
AI is like stuff you dream of, you know what it is, it sort of looks the same, but its still all wrong. Also once you started making the cheapie battery train sound, it gave me PTSD 😂
Hey Trainboy There is this channel called creepy Thomas or something stupid like that, but they make stories with ai generated ttte images Some stories include Thomas turns into vampire, Zombie engines, and my favorite *Thomas goes to India*
This is mostly the reason why you should never let AI make Thomas character. The second is image looks sort of like a locomotive if you squint; my favorite images are definitely Mr.Percival with a machine gun bit, The Snonce Crongldker engine, and Crane. While I think using AI to make movies, videos, characters, as well as other things is not how I would like to do things (maybe I might make a parody of this in the future but who knows) but it does make for some funny videos like this
