It is not like H R Giger, really. Giger's imagery is more sexually and sensually charged. These images are more akin to the Alien movie and focus on horror.

Nice. H-R. Giger is now past away roughly 10 years ago. Would be exciting to know, what he would think about AI and the wild fusions of imagery, produced by it. Maybe he would despise it... maybe he would embrace it and would create unsettling stuff, never seen before.
Very good questions. I'd like to think he would appreciate leaving a legacy of basically an entire genre of art in his wake. He reminds me of Lovecraft in that he basically created an entire sub-genre
@@darkrealities7878 That is a good question & i think he would have liked what he saw for the most part as it sure does bring out much of these creatures than we normally see in the films. I have to say as an opinion Lovecraft was the storyteller & his entities were at least on paper & in our minds much scarier than these Aliens were, but he left that pretty much up to the readers & what we see from artists & AI i don't think he saw them as we do. Now what you do as an AI artist are as cool as anything iv'e seen & that's not constricted to just the Aliens. Great work on all your stuff.

Giger's work is more mysterious and therefore more frightening. This here is too humanoid, thus too close to human. 2:42 however, is giger art. He didn't do it, AI did. And for once I can agree with it.

Giger and Beksinski would approve, I"m sure. But too bad the AI still has anomalies in the final results. glitches and instability. Seems to be doing a mesh warp in one to achieve a pseudo 3D look. The people walking must be 3D models that get clothed from text prompts but it's pretty cool to get 99% good results in 1% of the time it would take to create those using say Blender and Photoshop or Premier etc.

I'd like to go darker but all the good video gen models are heavily censored. And the open source video gen models still suck. I'm sure that situation will change over time.
well the human part is coming up with the general concept and the specific prompts, then filtering through the outputs to pick my favorites, etc. So its not 100% AI created, so fair point

C'mon kids! Lots of 'Come True' type excuses for this eyegasmia need to be made-nightmares are easier to render now. Same plot,who cares? Hellraiser et al make bugger all sense in the daytime-spook me late at night when the veil stretches thin. The prettier the pics, the dumber the plot can be, like people. Do it kiddies!
