I think we should use AI as a stepping stone to amplify our potential, not an excuse to avoid putting in the effort. These one-click solutions often don't give us what we want (see chat gpt trying to make a bouncing ball), but using them as a tool to maximize our output and help offset our shortcomings (like the rigging tool), I think we can absolutely make the best of the future before us. 🤸
🤸 Worked in studios where documentation of workflow and tools is very poor, so it will be fun to see how using AI will pass the test of time. Especially when tools come and go and legacy projects need to be revisited. "That guy that left, does anybody know which AI he prompted and what version it was?"
Just started learning blender recently and was starting to feel like there was no point since it seemed like AI was already going to make itself much better than I'd ever be. Good to know that humans still have a shot in this field 👍🏼 🤸♂️
you'll never have what you want with AI, it will always be random with little edit power. You'll have greater flixibility learning it yourself, but you can use AI to complement your work.
@@gethsemane-777never say never. But till an AGI comes out there will no be production ready editing tools for AI. So no need to jump around other jobs (that an eventual AGI will disturb may be even more ), it’s a waste of time. Need to focus on human relationships, because this is unautomatable.
@@gethsemane-777 Im sure that in the near future you can upload a lot of references into the AI to really describe what you want. This is why I switched from learning blender to python, because big companies cannot completely rely on AI no matter how advanced it is
It can't replace artists. It just copies works of artists. It doesn't have creativity. It can't create what you have in your mind. AI can make music but I wouldn't listen to it. Because it has no soul, no emotion, no personality. It's so boring. The same goes for all art forms.

I am a beginner blender user, i just finished my first character which btw took 4 months to do and i am happy to find someone to help me learn about blender to achieve this, oh and the video is awesome
