FYI The clear tubing you pointed out that failed is probably not "Tygon" brand tubing. Probably even cheaper material. If you want to replace or build your own. Be sure to by "Tygon TM" fuel rated tubing. Type F-4040-A yellow fuel & Lubricant tubing. You won't go wrong!

I have to agree with Greg the price has come down but still $25 for a spout is ridiculous when you can buy that ez spout replacements at any retail store for any other gas can that’s flexible no matter how cold it is and it comes with an air vent a filter for the nozzle and all the adapters in one package for $8 to $10 I just started investing in the Midland $15 5 gallon tanks and replacing the crappy EPA spouts with the ez pour ones and getting rid of my VP racing tanks because to me they’re over priced and the nozzles on them are worthless and as soon as you tip them upside down to fill anything no matter whether you have a seal in the breather or not somehow somewhere you end up getting drips of fuel leaking somewhere they’re just not ideal in my opinion and I sure as hell not gonna pay $25 for a piece of plastic with some billet ends on it imo I think they’re grossly over priced because the stupidity in my opinion it’s a gas can ffs you don’t need billet Steel in the ends of a flexible gas can nozzle that’s why it’s over priced I’m all for the flexible nozzle it’s a great idea and I would love to have it but they could’ve made it with plastic like the original VP nozzle and brought the cost down to probably $10-$15 for it and it would still last forever it’s not like there nozzles going in your transmission somewhere or your engine where you need to billet steel to make heavy duty car parts it’s a nozzle for a gas tank! They could easily redo this and just have the flexible hose with a cheaper plastic insert to thread into the tank and cut the price in half the hoses they are using is probably pennies they’re charging you for the fancy billet Steel that you don’t even need

You have some good points. However I feel everything is expensive now so I don't know what top say. The VP cans, I have had them for a LONG time now. I don't like how VP or even Risk Racing says they are not for fuel storage well when I fill them up where else would I then store the fuel...LOL I know why they changed the wording but yeah I don't agree with it. You can buy cans that look like VP right from BigR (its a tractor supply type store). The VP nozzles were plumbing hose and fittings and why they dry out and break in time, these are much nicer and I do think they should just already have the long billet piece included. Is $25 too much *shrug* I just bought Milk, two small ice creams and a pack of Gatorade and it was $25 :-( I think if they could get it down to $15 that be more ideal. Maybe make plastic model and a billet one and give the choice to people. Anything is better then the VP stuff.

@@Meekerextreme I just ordered one today from Amazon that wasn’t one of the A1 13 nozzles but one that has a more flexible hose and it has a brass ball valve at the cap so you can actually stick the hose into something without spilling fuel all over trying to get it to bend those stiff stock hoses on the VP racing tanks and then turn the valve on to actually start supplying the fuel I thought that was a clever idea because I’m always spilling some when I’m trying to get that hose into a tank of some thing this way I can put the hose in first and then just turn the valve on to start the flow and it was only $12 hopefully it’s a good one we’ll see but yeah I get your point as well everything with this economy right now is over priced so everything’s expensive and they have a 10 or 15% discount right now through Christmas I believe so you could probably get it for 20 bucks which isn’t terrible but I have 10 of those bottles so that would add up if I put one on every bottle but I guess I can just unscrew it and move it from bottle the bottle so I might still ordering try one out as well.

$35 for a "spout" to put on a sub $30 jug ? Nah. Ive DIY-ed benders for all of my jugs for pennies each.
