I have placements from August. watching this doesn't help, but makes me hate engineering even more! and I really like that, because the way this video shows the rawness is typically unseen. I actually forced my mom to sit and watch the three videos to get over engineering and medical!

@Monali Kumari the problem is you have to know what u r going to dive into... You have to imagine yourself 10 years down the line... you have to imagine your profession... you have to think about whether you will be liking your profession or not, before going for engineering... If you are not competent enough then don't go for it, I mean don't go for the *non* CS IT branches... Competition for getting a good job over there is really high... you have no career over there you will just waste 4 years of your life..

I was giving an Interview related to Design Engineer Post, (I was a Fresher) and they literally give me there Company Industrial Blue Print to Model it. 90 Percent of this Blue-Print was totally there Industry Code Language, I only Designed remaining 10 Percent of their Parts. and Finally they said, "Seems like you didnot have a Taste in our Products, so thank you very Much for coming". *Rejected*. I was literally thinking WTF.

Been watching AIB since I was 18 fresh out of house in engineering college.. now I am 27 and these videos still make me smile whenever I watch it. I "successfully" completed engineering.. was working at one of the BIG MNC.. now working in US for the past 2 years... I still feel I should have dropped out of college to pursue direction, cinematography and acting! Kudos to those who dared to do it and have come this far in achieving their dreams!

As an ex-IITian from a non-prestigious school, I have to say, you have to put a lot of effort, but it is definitely possible to balance academic curriculum and extra-curriculars in college and emerge as a well-rounded person. I watched this video when I was in class 9, my cousin who came back for summer vacation (4th year, Tier 3 engg college) made us watch it. I didn’t understand it much at the time, i just giggled at the gaalis. I’m in 4th year now(tier 1.5 college) I’m placed and i came across this today and holy shit I understand it all, I felt it all.

Was class topper, interested in research, not at all interested in job, parents wanted me to get a job to secure my future. Tried for 4 days, got rejected 5 times, before I quit trying for job. Now doing PhD in Germany, having less money than corporate job, but more happiness and satisfaction. The feels this video has given are just unexplainable. Thanks!!

It is not that we cannot speak English , we are just very conscious of our diction and our pronunciation and we are not confident to speak in front of anyone else if the curriculum was a little bit diverse , if the engineer college in our country focused on our all round development instead of functioning like a god-damn factory that is just mass producing robots by killing thier dreams and handing out degrees , i would not be sitting in this pointless HR interview the likes of which only exist in our country .

I am an IIT graduate with 6.3cgpa. I didn't get college placement as I wasn't shortlisted anywhere. Now I am working in a PSU. Conclusion: Your marks can never decide your future but your habbit of working hard will definitely put you in a good condition in the end. So never loose confidence in yourself.
