The Travelscoot what are its advantages it is so manoeuvrable, light, easy to fold up. It only weighs 18 KG and that includes the lithium ion (dry call) battery Ideal for me, I have multiple sclerosis and very bad foot drop
The only problem I had with my belt drive one is that rain would get into the plug for the motor and keep it from working. If you could work out a way to keep water out of any wiring it should be good to go.
I too have MS and am wondering how you feel about this scooter after a few months of use. It looks like a good solution for being able to take it with you in a car or plane.
Sorry, only just spotted this. I take it with me where every I go whether by train, plane or car. I have not come across another mobility scooter quite as ingenious as this OK it is not lockable so take out the battery. It only weighs 18 Kg (including the battery). When folded it is very easy to lift up. ?A quick squirt of WD40 will help if the hinges are a bit stiff
