2:30 I think the hook for the sling straps might be better if they were offset, rather than coming directly off the lift arm. This would reduce the chance of the straps running over the hands. Not sure if it only looks like that might happen from the angle the video is taken from though.
The current safe practice is not to apply the brakes on the standing machine when transferring a person. The rationale is to allow for autocalibration of the machine as the machine adjusts to the person's body weight and knee movements when transitioning from sitting to standing and vice versa
For training, they take super easy resident. In real practice it’s not that easy manual handling. If possible Next time , please take resident who is resistive to care and doesn’t cooperate. That will be helpful. Thanks
