Aidan Quinn and guest Philomena Begley - All the Road Running 

I was never a fan of Philomena Begley but I have been blown away with the quality of her voice on this song. In my opinion it’s a better version than Emmylou Harris & Mark Knopfler's. It’s a superb song and has a real Irish traditional feel to it. Congratulations also to the Cameraman/Director of the video, whoever you are you have real talent and a great eye for a good shot.

Well, it's a few years late, but better late than not at all. I just found this video in my Philomena Begley search after I'd watched her and Derek's "It Won't Rain Forever". What an incredible performance!! The traditional musicianship is SO beautifully done, and the vocals by Aidan and Philomena are beyond words. I love it!!! Just simply love it and I'm playing it over and over, marvelling at the music and vocals -- and those harmonies. Just wow!!!

I love Irish music but wasn't a fan of Philomena before, until I heard this song and love it. No wonder she's the Queen of Irish and country music

I love the way, near the beginning, she acknowledges the young guitarist to her right and he responds likewise. Both singers misinterpret the line, "when there's only a ringin' in your ears" They read it as "a ring in your ear," whereas Mark Knopfler's lyrics have it as, "a ringin'." So, it's not a ring in your ear, but a ringing in your ear. Anyway, I love their version and the whole atmosphere in the bar.
