I just love seeing Aidan being himself, which is so different from Ross, demonstrating so clearly what a great actor he is. This happy-go-lucky fellow is nothing like the serious Ross who so rarely smiles (and he really should!). Well, congratulations to everyone involved in Poldark. What a fantastic series in every respect.

Yes, congratulations to the whole cast -- Podark should have won in the US. Surprised. I just stumbled across it one night, looking for something good to watch. I hadn’t heard anything about it. Not any advertising that I saw, or reviews. Most Americans hardly know it exists. The Golden Globes have given so many awards year after year to Dowton Abbey but not Podark. Podark far better!

Congratulations to Poldark !

My favorite movie ever!!! It was a multi-episode/season show on Masterpiece Theatre/ BBC. I am glad it was so long. Never a boring part. Wow! I thought Masterpiece Theatre programs could be a bit boring but this was terrific. Adapted from a series of novels by a very find English writer. Writing great and Actors excellent. Of course, Aiden Turner so handsome. And, Eleanor Tomlinson his wife in the movie is beautiful. George character was the nemesis of Ross Podark (Aiden Turner)-what a great actor he was. Loved beautiful Gabrielle Wilde, the heiress, that marries the Doctor, Luke Norris. He was excellent as well And, I cannot forget the Pug Horace who was throughout the show once the heiress enters the picture. He even had his own trailer on the set! I will buy it and watch it every year. I also wish they would have another Season but from what they say, there will not be although they have not finished adapting the series of novels...So, i will have to read them, I guess.
