Rangers fan, but I feel McGeady is always a great guest when he’s on, rivals with Halliday in Edinburgh Derby, obviously support otherwise of Old Firm, but get on really well on Open Goal Podcast. Scotland has to try out summer football, ( we have virtually nothing to lose, we can always go back ) would equip us better for Europe .. but more importantly would encourage more " PASSING" / control the ball, in all our leagues which would produce better quality players. Rather than our long ball approach, which most teams in Scot deploy. . Look at Scandanavia they play summer football, this encourages style of play ( cant just run around like headless chicken when heat is introduced ) This winter style football we play in Scotland is prehistoric !! It needs an overhaul with a whole new approach, which almost forces clubs / teams to change.., How long will we stick our heads in the sand & blame everyone else. Summer football also might help with TV revenue / sponsors etc as large section of the season you are not competing with English Leagues .
Problem was he wanted to beat defenders two or three times instead of getting the ball in the box. Could have been a great player but was too selfish and his personality clash with Strachan never helped.

Would prefer rules that can be implemented in "ALL" leagues & levels of football. We are creating a different sport using VAR , in just 1-2 seasons its created pretty big differences, now multiply that over 50-100 years..!! will they even be similar sports.? Jefte red was terrible but he was involved in at least 2 other challenges after 1st yellow. Think ref was giving 2nd yellow, no matter soft it was. Manager has to see that.

To my knowledge they only lost a goalkeeper and replaced him with like-for-like, some may say better keeper. They may be under a certain amount of pressure from a certain section of support to strengthen but what's the worry if they don't? Champs League money has been banked which will only increase even with losing every match! The domestic setup looks an absolute cert as we (Rangers) are a disgrace to the name and identity.
