I think it was a mediocre stealth cover shooter with a boring story and downgraded graphics, crowbcat's encapsulates how shit this game really is.

yeah saw that video too a while back. Was pretty funny. That said there is definitely a lot of jank in the game, but you can avoid that for the majority of the gaming experience. What can't be avoided are rather minor. There is no excuse for the failed promises and unnecessary downgrades. Still, for the time it was launched the physics and destruction for that genre was more than decent. I can't help you if the gameplay loop and story genuinely couldn't stick with you though. I liked it a lot personally. Imo, watch dogs 1 had the best story in the series and the main character totally stole the show. Almost considered buying the third game because of the dlc including him. @@AxaFin

@@gpheonix1 Story appeared to be good in retrospect after the abomination they call Watch Dogs 2. whole series had lot of potential but they just really fucked it.

but the watch dogs 2 had significantly better stealth and tbh watch dogs 2 was more in line of how hackers actually are while watch dogs 1 was a revenge story i enjoyed 2 story more than 1

@Pinakiprime910 Facts. But silenced weapons not being there are a big no no. 2 is still the best watch dogs game obviously though.
