I finally got it working.. i only figured it out that I need to replace it with a screw with a wider head so it wont fall off.. its working well now.. thanks.
I have these adapters on my 40 pin and 48 pin knitters and LOVE them ,yes they are a bit noisy but my arms and wrists are so happy with these. I bought them on Amazon for 39.99 each. You have to get a separate one for each sizes as the gears are different. I make hats and scarves for houseless people and donate at least 50 hats each cold season. I had questions but could not get ahold of the shipper so had to buy a new gear for one knitter as the long screw that holds the handle on stripped immediately. Now if I could power my looms so easily lol.
Hello Lynn Gravatt your approach touched me, you are the best, no matter what questions you have in the future, you can contact me, I will solve it for you unconditionally,
I have carpal tunnel in my wrists and got a knitting machine to help me enjoy my hobby without too much stress when I'm just making simpler items. This device would be able to help me out even more from risking pain and inflammation. Thank you
Just commenting to say I bought one, it's great. Make sure you have good weights to pull your work down, because it'll be hard to catch if the yarn gets stuck, but also you can control the speed. If only I could figure out a way to add in a pedal like a sewing machine... The only thing I'm not fond of is how easy it is to accidentally reverse when I'm trying to quickly turn off the machine if a stitch got stuck, but you get used to it.
I bought it and just used one time. The problem I got is after 40-50 rounds, the motor stopped. I don't know what kind of motor you used, but maybe need to improves the product with other, because the product idea is really good.
@@Yana_dimensionalarray Does this happen if the adapter and machine are not installed together? I don't know now whether it is the problem of the knitting machine or my product or the thread is too thick? If it is determined that it is my product problem, I am sending you one, so please test which problem it is, otherwise I am afraid that it will still be the same result.
Gracias por su ayuda,mi maquina de tejer es nueva,le quise poner el adaptador electrico,le quite facil el tornillo pero el manubrio no se lo pude retirar, veo en el video que se quita facil pero no pude
Wish mine was that easy. The screw was too short. The original handle had a plastic piece that made the adapter not fit. Had to get another knitting machine. Oh well.
Hello,Györgyi Beer Thank you for your purchase, can you share your experience on Amazon, so that more people can understand it, we will develop a variety of models later, we can let you use it for free first, as long as you share more our product, thank you
@@aliciaih Can you take a video or photo and send it to me? Send it to the email address zoujinlong7777@gmail.com, I feel that there is a problem with the connection point
Hi! Just bought and the provided screwdriver immediately stripped the screw on the original handle. Is there any way to resolve this? It seems there is no longer any way to remove the handle. Let me know! Thanks
The same thing happened to me. My spouse used a little hand saw and cut 4 slits from the screw out like a cross. It actually broke the screw, and he could then take the handle off. I preemptively bought a replacement handle, but they way he cut it off worked perfectly, and the handle can be screwed back on if I want.
I attached this to my Sentro as per the instructions. I turned it on, slowly, to see if it worked. Yes it was good. I then knitted about 15 rows at a fairly slow pace, nervous, I suppose! Suddenly the Aidiler went fly off the machine, it had shorn the screw attaching it!! Now what do I do?
@@patd3376 The only way is to disassemble the sentro and take out the screws. If you need a new adapter I can mail one to you. Or you can tell me if you need anything from me.
I am still having problems with your product. I bought a new machine, install your product. It keeps stopping in the middle of operation, I only did 40 rows. I let it cool down, not going to fast on it and it still keeps stopping. Can you assist me. thk u
Hi, quite an impressive accessory, however, you could save money on manufacturing if you didn't bother with the white turning wheel. If the original crank can be reinstalled after the motor unit it would be more convenient for the user. Perhaps you could consider revising your design or integrate this into your addi accessory. Also, I couldn't see the switch very well, but was there a double action switch installed? If so, can the direction be reversed? If not, can you develop this into the next model? Thanks and good luck
Hello,Maniacal Moz I am very grateful for your suggestion. We have developed a new connection point according to your idea for the position of the handle. Later products can be connected together with the original handle. The switch is bidirectional and can be operated in both directions. Addi's structure will add all your ideas to it, thanks again for your suggestions.
@@goldlong6958 i got one of these for my 40. Guess it will sit in a box because the handle will not come apart. Grrrr Sugfest... add the gear to your next model so people can enjoy it instead if looking at that box wishing.
Well I brought the adapter and it's nice but I did like the video did and I must have turned to much and it broke. I tried to see if it would go back on but didn't buy I do like the product.

Doesnt work! Got about 40-50 rows then it stopped and did a little jerky motion thing. The light comes on when the knob is on but flip the switch and it goes out. Sat here for an hour trying different things thinking i did something wrong but it doesnt seem like it. Sending back.
Can you tell me your address, I will send you another one and try again, this should be our problem, we will report it to the technical department, we apologize for the inconvenience caused,
We regret to inform you that our products have been completely taken off the shelves due to some issues. Hi I wanted to tell you that i Bought one of these for my Sentro 48. I have been having problems with it here and there and would love if you could help me.
@@goldlong6958 There are times after just starting it will stop and then I have to kinda play with the whit turn nob to get it to start back up, Also I have noticed that the faster I go it drops stitches. Now I know I wont always get it perfect all the time, But I watch your video on how smooth it ran at a fast pace or turned up. Mine dont do that. Its all the time. Once in a while I can get it to actually perform good. Now I just cleaned my knitting machine a day after I wrote you , And it still stops after just starting it. I dont know if its faulty and I was the lucky winner LOL but I Would love for you to help me. If nothing works is there a way you could send me another one... What a great idea. I just bought my Sentro andI also ordered the adapter to be use with an electric screwdriver or drill from Amazon here I Canada. Will this adapter be available to buy on Amazon in Canada without having to pay import/custom fees if ordered thru the US?
