Taking a break from skiing we drive from Saint Gervais to the nearby town of Chamonix where we climb aboard the telepherique taking the fast route to an altitude induced nauseating height of 3842m and spectacular 360 degree views across France, Italy and Switzerland at the Aiguille du Midi. If the altitude doesn't take your breath away then the utterly frightening attraction Step into the Void most certainly will. Only a slither of glass seperating you from a 1000m drop below, utterly terrifying but an experience not to be missed.
