Saw her last night singing Charlotte in Massenet's Werther at the Royal Opera House. She was superb. Gorgeous rich sound. She will sing all the major roles in all the major Opera houses for decades to come.

Да, именно так, она - великое меццо-сопрано с большим будущим в мире. Не будем забывать, что она окончила одну из лучших певческих академий в Российской Федерации, в Уфе. Хорошего дня!

I saw her in Carmen at ROH two weeks ago and her voice was flawless - one of the best mezzos in the world today (if not THE best) !!
Agree! Maybe too much Carmen too early: That easy, lyrical, well-balanced top is being challenged and unbalanced by Carmen's mid/low tessitura. I'll be at the Met for the Carmen on Jan. 16. (Would it be such a "crime" if she turned out to be a lyric soprano like Mirella Freni?)
Not a lot of work, she has v g foundations, and she learnt in the One True School. She may have improved in two years, I would say. ...Troyanos was good, not great.

We saw her at the MET in Carmen for the New Year’s Eve gala….ok - but a boring performance by her. The star of the evening was clearly Angel Blue who can beautiful transport emotions with her voice…which was missing with Carmen. I don’t think she has the expression and stage presence you would expect from a superstar…but maybe it is too early in her career.
