It's heartbreaking to see how we're destroying our heritage without any remorse. If we don't change our ways soon, there will be nothing left to preserve.
Don't know why on every weekend I impatiently wait for Salman sb's episode to release😄 Thanks to Adnan Moiz (the unseen producer😄) for delivering us the content with full of insight
It is a fact that Babar was fond of young boys. His favourite was a boy called " Babri". When Babri died Babar ordered a masjid be made in his memory. Its mentioned in Babarnamaa

Hello sir I am particularly interested in learning about the ancient city of Taxila, its cultural and intellectual significance, and its role in the development of the Gandhara region. I would also appreciate any recommendations on books that discuss the archaeology and architecture of Taxila.
To begin with there is the 3-vol set by John Marshall. Then there are dozens of papers/books by later scholars. Dani's Taxila is a useful contribution. You'll have to visit the library in Lahore Museum to check out.
Akra is just a mound. When I visited it in 1999, there was no excavation. Nothing to show. Though earlier some work has been done and it is known to be a Indo-Greek site, 2nd century BCE.
I saw the same plight in Shahpur Saddar. I had heard of the temples there and on my last trip to Pakistan, I decided to go and see those. One temple was part of a school, same story. The other one was the kitchen of a halwai. A family who had moved from Ondia and claimed this land. I knocked at their door and first they thought I am there to interrogate them. I assured them otherwise and they let me in. Some of the original writing and paintings were there. It’s sad to see how in our religious zest we dishonour other faiths, which is against the teachings of Islam.
