Great video, looks like a fun and demanding course. I really like the message at the end, it's really in touch with the spirit of aikido.

I agree with this point. 'Anticipation' would come under the category of 'leading'. I also agree with his last point about 'simply extend, and move' are not directives that can help us beyond a certain point in training when we want more.. more detail, more subtlety..

Me encanta esta disciplina pero desgraciadamente por mi edad que tengo no puedo practicarla tengo 45 años y a la escuela que fui me dijeron que ya estaba muy grande para aprender felicidades

You can start at any age, Juan. Aikido is supposed to build and improve the body, not destroy it. If you find a good dojo they can teach you how to do that, and you can still work within your limits. Best wishes.

¿Quién es ese lumbreras de sensei? Yo tengo 51 años (a puntito de cumplir los 52) dos hernias discales, atrofia parcial en la pierna izquierda a causa de un accidente, pérdida de movilidad a causa de pérdida de cartílago en el hombro derecho y algún que otro achaque más que serían muy largos de enumerar. Llevo haciendo Aikido relativamente poco. (2017) por lo tanto tenía...¿48 años? Si no cálculo mal, y si me tiro un par de días (que es lo que doy a la semana) sin ir, me subo por las paredes. Cambia de sensei y anímate, nunca somos conscientes de lo que somos capaces, hasta que no lo intentamos. Anímate y si ves que no es lo tuyo por lo menos lo has intentado. Un gran abrazo.
