@@Gumblethebear you sound like a punk. id love to show you some moves. :) they're fun. showboating. why just kick someones ass when you could have a little more fun with it?
A lot of you guys in the comments don't understand the basics of c.q.c, It's about subduing your opponent by neutralizing them by taking them off their center of balance, whether you're the aggressor or they are it doesn't matter, timing is key and finding their center of balance and becoming their center of balance is the foundation to this art, once you become their balance you can direct wherever you please. When your opponent is moving a lot it actually makes the moves a lot easier to apply because you can use their force against them.
aikido bashing is not fair the guy in white wasn't standing still he was stepping forward into fight the opponent saw opportunity & exercised with speed ...execution was fast for maximum impact that's what u do...see opportunity & execute move asap. can be a punch, kick or this full body sweep each can be defended if seen quick enough... thumbs up...nice move I say
Aikido is just like any martial art. It has a specific application. It is not primarily a striking art, but it does incorporate some striking moves and is intended more to disable than kill the opponent.
I think you miss the point here. Most of technique need some condition to be used. They called "technique" after all. The point is when and how to use them, to make sure the condition is met. Sure it isnt free like boxing and street fight. But if the technique successfully connect then it would be great
@xalovaid3693 I think you miss the point. In a real fight, these conditions do not exist. That's why we laugh when we see this stuff. There's a reason you never see someone do something like this in a real fight between two people who know how to fight.
It is good don't get me wrong but from what I have seen, maybe the people I have seen do this aren't that fast at this but someone competent could go for something like a ogoshi or use an elbow to block as it is quite open but yeah all the newbies would use this one it's own and not use it in a combo
You would be surprised how many people have slow reaction times. Besides the point, aikido is best used not as a main fighting style but best used when requirements and conditions are met.
how to know that someone hasn't practice martial arts in his life. Bro, in martial arts you have a base, that base you need to practice it until the day your life ends. Other techniques are derived from that base, those you practice them again and again and again until they are as natural for you as breathing. you probably aren't gonna fight other martial artist, you'll probably use it with a thug which reaction time for a technique he have never seen is at best 3/4 of a fat guy. thats why Bruce Lee said “Don't fear the man who knows 1,000 techniques. But fear the man that has practiced one technique 1,000 times.”
@@SuperCookiemonster43 My comment stands. Get out of Ukraine! STOP KILLING INNOCENTS in EUROPE!! Stop killing CHILDREN!!! Then talk to me about politeness!! 😠
Lyoto machida former UFC champion does this throw a lot and are in more of his MMA highlights. It's also used often in Muay Thai by saenchai and other Thai fighters. It's not a aikido only move and it's very effective

Grab neck on drop and lift legs to wrap right arm. That's called a reaction. Something people more than dummies have. 4/5 times that move works on an unsuspecting opponent. But in the words of rango... It only takes one bullet.
"Anyone who knows how to fight will never let you get that close." Exactly. Which is one thing that flags calling this an Aikido move utter b.s. Aikido doesn't take a fight *to* someone, it lets an attacker supply the momentum and energy to be re-directed against him or her.
I still... Forget that I want to do aikido... I should do it... And... Low-key belly dance too .... And pole fence because of strength would be cool too
Oh come on people that’s pure talent! Talented at editing, getting opponents to stand still is easy after you dig them up and prop them up with a large paper, Mâché stick!
That looks very dangerous. Right cross is the primary threat. Everyone is looking for the right cross, that's why he's in that form. It's pretty much all he's thinking about and you stepped into the right spot. If that's a wrestler, you're, he's probably going to shoot and take your back if you try it.
Every martial art is good in its own way. But how effective it is depends on how skilled and experienced the practitioner is. The more skills you have, the better you will be at fighting.
That's why I'm black belt in 3 martial-arts to be complete. Karate, Judo, Jiu-jitsu. Now I'm doing Calisthenic to have the technique and the force and I want to do some Wing-chun to improve my skills in close combat.
Muay thai practitioner doing literally same technique: 😮 When other martial artist practitioner doing same technique: bullshido (I haven't seen other martial artist doing this move except for aikido and muay thai but both of them have different audience reaction depending on who's the practitioner)
Many saying that aikido is good when the opponent doesnt move. Im learning kick boxing and my dad was knew jiujitsu and boxing and was actually a winner on a tournament. He. Thaught me thos move and i always use it when i spar with my friends, that are actually fightin back too.
As somone who took aikido for two years as a kid, aikido is really just the martial art of making it look like your unresponsive opponent fell over on their own
Aikido is something super natural techniques that can only be master through entering the 4th dimension...... If you really interested...you can contact me .... But the 1st thing you should know is that you can't find us we will find you if we think your worthy of the training......
It's a hip throw using an anterior strike/push instead of the typical interior clothesline/pull. It seems like it works but it's not exactly the most innovative thing in the world.
