I just purchased this kit form Amazon and tried it. I didn’t allow it to dry long enough and my nails were sticky. Is a UV lamp needed withy dip powder?
If it's a gel dip powder then u need lamp. If it's Arcrylic powder you don't need a lamp to set it Arcrylics sets it self with the activator provided. Hope this helps
with Dipping powder the UV light is not necessary, you can leave for 5-10 mins to fully dry and it should be good to go. Also depends on how thick you have layered the top coat up, you need to make sure its not too much and not too little.
The powder containers are super tiny you are right! They do however come with an additional tray to dispense the powder into if needed, also the newer version of the kit the containers are slightly taller to make it easier to dip I guess. I have managed to use 1 coloured powder around 5/6 times I’d say and that’s dipping 3x for 10 nails each time. So I would say it’s pretty decent. The Tommica kit which is different to the one I have used here, their powder containers are a lot bigger and contain more powder.
