If you read the vocal analysis of musical experts, among active KPOP idols (except for Sohyang) Ailee is the greatest vocalist of this generation in terms of vocal power and usage. :) So, hail to the Queen ^^

When the lyrics started reading "every every everybody's passing through this way", I lost my shit. I've been having issues with myself in life and I've always tried to keep them at bay and the lyrics just hit me like a bullet train. I would have literally broken down and started sobbing if I was alone. This song is amazing, and Ailee did it pure justice. Real respect for Yoon Bok-hee for writing(?) such a comforting song.

I dont know, but she made me cry. :) It was like her own concert! WOW! Anyways, she has already improved a lot, and she is doing REALLY REALLY GOOD! And you can see she still has so much potential to grow and be better! I just wish her company will nourish that potential and promote her better. She has the ability to go international, anytime! You don't see any big voice like this in Korea from this generation of idols. Yes. a lot of them can sing, they can do big songs too BUT NOT AS POWERFUL. Keep at it Ailee! I wish for you better and bigger things in your career! Hope to see you in the International stage soon. :)

her company (ymc entertainment) has been doing a pretty good job so far. she is well known in korea & has some international fans. Just a few weeks / months after her debut she was already extremly popular. There were some up & downs in the last 2 years... I hope she releases a big album soon & gets even more recognition & love.

Geez, stop comparing Sohyang and Ailee.. Comparing them is stupid, especially if the two singers are totally differently styled. It's like comparing ketchup and mustard, they both have the same purpose but they're obviously differently styled. If you're on AILEE'S performance, the whole point is to enjoy her performance and talk about Ailee. Same to Sohyang,if it's Sohyang's performance, enjoy her performance and talk about it. She's 100% korean, but she was born in Denver and raised in New Jersey. She's in Korea since 2011 or 2012. Her native language and "attitudes" are americans. And yes, she's so amazing!!! :D

Ailee's version is very beautiful. I feel like she kept it toned down to really give across the emotional part of the song. She did a lot of things vocally that were amazing. I personally prefer Sohyang's version because it was more dramatic and had strong emotion. Her vocals on it were incredibly difficult and it just made me appreciate it a little more. I'm not saying one is better than the other. They're both amazingly talented women.

I didn’t hate so hyang.. she is a very powerful singer with a wide vocal range... but, for this particular song, ailee’s version is better... you can see from the audience’s reaction and the song writer’s reaction... So Hyang’s best performance in my opinion is when she sang during Michael Bolton visit....

What makes Ailee stand out is the way she expresses her emotions like...I feel like she's singing directly to me, like she's in me and she's singing to me to encourage me to lean on her when I'm down...it's like that soothing type of voice as if she's trying to comfort me through the song...I'm not her fan but I like to listen to her a lot. She's pretty and incredibly talented. I hope I can meet her some day and give her a hug (if that'll be possible lol) as a sign of my gratitude.

Lou Big problem is....there are lots of very good female singers in America already. Unless you write your own hits, the songwriters will go with the more well known singers. Such as, you know, Beyonce, who sings similar to Ailee. Don't get me wrong; I love Ailee's singing. But breaking into the American music industry wasn't going to happen. She took the right route. Get established, then go back. She's already a star in Korea. Now if she could only find a song in English that could be a hit......

Honestly why have i JUST found Ailee?? She has an incredible amount of talent. Her voice is just gah AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! This performance literally gave me chills down my arms. And when the kids joined in!!! WOW i just started crying for no reason... really beautiful job by the way!!! SUCH A POWERFUL VOICE!!!!

Trần Chi also, it was usually corea, but during the japanese rule they. didnt want to be in the back (alphabetical order) so they changed it to korea.

I just looked at some Ariana Grande, who's obviously big in US and elsewhere, but for me, she has the voice but seems plastic, whereas Ailee is dynamic and exciting to watch. She moves me with her singing like nobody else. She's the real thing. I hope she stays honest and true as she moves through the years.

One thing good abt ailee is that even if shes singing on a high note u will never see in her face that shes having difficulty.she still looks beautiful and smiling face.unlike others who put so much effort to reach d high notes.for ailee its no sweat coz shes indeed a good and amazing singer.love her forever..my one and only idol😊wish to see in the intl scene with ur idol beyonce😊
