Aileen Quinn will always be my favorite "Annie." She has such a natural-girl beauty about her and she did an outstanding job! No other actress has ever topped her performance as "Annie." I was still in high school when "Annie" (1982) was released and I'll never forget her remarkable singing, dancing and acting.
Aileen is my favorite Annie and she wasn’t bad, but I have to admit some people topped her singing in the movie. She wasn’t a bad singer, but just not a great one. I wish she had a chance to sing a again so she would be a even better singer.
I remember seeing Annie the first time in theatres with my aunt annie. I was 8 years old. What a great movie! I thought Aileen Quinn was cute as a button. Loved her singing. She will always be Annie to me no matter how many times they remake it. She was sensational.
I was about 10 years old when I saw the movie for the first time in the movie theater. When my family bought our first VCR, and we had a VHS copy of Annie, I use to watch it nearly every day until my other siblings were sick of it. Now, that I'm grown up, I show it to my own kids, and they don't complain.
Wonderful interview! The question I would ask is how she avoided crying during Maybe at the beginning? I am 27 and still cry every time I hear that song. It is my favorite song in the film though.
Wow! She seems to be a very friendly person and she is so pretty!!! ;-) If I only would be in her surroundings and knew that she is single, I think I would ask her for a date!!! ;-)
She's beautiful, and has gotten even more so with age. I'm surprised she isn't more famous and well known and more popular. Oh, well. I guess we'll never really know what determines popularity and fame. But well known or not, she's great.
