Taking care of your Aillio Bullet R1 is important. Over time, coffee oils, dust and chaff particles will build up on the internal surfaces and decrease airflow. About once a year, you should take apart the rear portion and give it a good cleaning.
Please note: roasters purchased in 2019 on are equipped with an updated IR sensor that self-cleans using jets of clean air. The updated IR sensor will not have a glass cover.

We use a solution made with Urnex Tabz carafe cleaner and a bristle brush (also made for cleaning carafes). Some removable parts like the mesh chaff basket and impeller can be soaked in this solution too.
