I made a video a while back talking about my re-entry into the HAM radio hobby with the purchase of a used 2 meter Radio Shack Radio.
The good people over at Ailunce Saw the video and decided that in order to really enjoy Ham in the modern era more bells and whistles were needed.
They have very kindly decided to send me this brand new model to test out and play with. So far its been a rather large learning curve getting the newer functions working right but I'm getting there. I'll be making two other videos of this stout little radio, 1 on its functions, and another that tests its simplex range using the Radio Shack 2m as a base.
