I had the 860v3 in high school for running cross country. They were by far the comfiest and most durable shoe I used back then. Perfect for my narrow, high arch foot. I'm not a sneakerhead by any means but it's really cool and interesting to see these back as a designer collaboration release.
Purposely got the red for the following reasons: 1) as you said green is the most quintessential ALD color so chances of winning wouldve dropped compared to choosing the other 2 2) have so much green NBs already, having a red collab definitely is a breath of fresh air 3) I chose charmander over bulbasaur and squirtle in the pokemon game years ago 🤣
Nice review! I hit on the Red. Feels like I've been piling up greens and blues in my collection, so wanted to mix it up a bit. The Green are the best of the trio in my opinion, but I'm hoping to grab the 1906Rs from ALD so avoided the Green here. I do like how light these are, a good summer shoe. And the ALD branding adds a nice touch.
I went for the blue and green also. Got the green ones but not the blue ones. I wanted the blue ones because I have the 1906r green ones. Which I love.
I get why these may divide opinions but I love them 👌🏼 Got to say with sizing though, my us10 felt fine at first (what I wear in 2002 and 1906, same as Sean) but after a few hours they seemed very narrow and were actually hurting my feet. Strange one but I’d now opt for half size up given the chance
Ugh damn man. I've been trying to cool it with sneakers as part of my 2023 goal. These might break me though 😂 They just look so unique and great on foot compared to what I have. Green by far is my favorite, but I've got like 4-5 pairs of green NBs so I may just pick up the blue to diversify a bit. It helps that it's cheaper than green. Especially since it's almost all mesh.
another great review, Sean. i actually was wondering, with all these sneakers you have ranging from lifestyle, to performance, and pure aesthetics, what’s your daily rotation look like? as someone with 120-ish pairs of sneakers, it hard for me to wear them all. might be a great vid to make if you haven’t already, and if you have maybe it’s time for an update? thanks again!
Sean you’re the man! Always come to your videos for reviews especially sizing. I am stilll torn between 10.5 which is my TTS and half size down. For reference I own NB x Kith 1300 in size 10 and NB x ALD 550 size 10. All nike air maxs / jordan 1 size 10.5. I also have the NB raincloud 2002r in size 10 which fits very snug (Which i prefer the 1:1) . should I go TTS in these or half size down you think?
This is obviously my opinion, but idk why everyone is putting in the plain cream laces in these. The other 2 two-tone options give so much more definition to the sneakers
