Hi hi, I have a short question. I have a used Mychron 5s but i don't see the water temperature on my display. The sensor is installed in the head of the engine and the settings are good. I think my sensor is broken. Should the display show the temperature immediately after the sensor makes contact with the water? Thanks in advance!! Greetings from Holland
It should always be reading the value of the sensor. Go into your screen configuration and ensure you have the water temp set to display. If that doesn't work try plugging a different sensor in

Yes indeed. There is a setting on both the MyChron 4 and MyChron 5 that allows the logger to compute engine RPM based on how my spark pulses happen per engine RPM. This allows for engines that burn a spark at bottom dead center, or with other odd ignition timings to be properly read by the MyChron.

Abdelkefi Mohamed Lotfi That's an infra red lap sensor. you need an ir beacon sitting on the side of the track, but every time you pass the beacon with your kart it will trip the lap
