This is not about religion for me. It's about the music and powerful performances that move me. I have about 30 versions of this song in a folder and love it. This particular performance is, finally, one which features some individualism in the guitar playing. Bless Leonard Jones for his inspired playing!!!
Not all of them are like that though. I recently got into Leonard's music. Listen to it for yourself. He pours his heart into his lyrics. It is worship. His voice reminds me of Bono or Sting. If anything it's the production quality on this live recording that's been done well. Leonard is a holy warrior and he wields that guitar in rivers of glory.
