This is so amazing!, thank you so much Aaron for sharing your history about the song. I was a little girl when I discovered this game and I was OBSESSED! I always wondered who sang this song and why he wasn't even that famous! I searched in the internet about you and there was nothing about it. For me this is the most iconic song in the whole game and I can promise you that everyone knows this song around the world. Thank you so much! I'm from Chile, music breaks barriers. :-)
Hello... mikixhitomi☆..... Music does break barriers. The barrier that stood between us communicating directly between each other was indeed broken down by MUSIC amazingly. Thank you for the comment in it's entirety. As far as searching me on the internet goes, I may have contributed to that confusion myself. You see, for the last 20 years I've had absolutely no idea that this song of mine affected so many people world-wide. It's beyond amazing!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the honor. I am so humbled and impressed. May Magical Music Live forever! DDR (Aaron G. aka/ Aaron G. West ) No MUSIC NO LIFE AARONGWEST.COM SPOTIFY RU-vid.COM APPLEMUSIC AMAZON
I am so honored for the success and love that this little song has given me!!!! But it wouldn't be nothing without FANS just like you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! .......................Aaron G. West
Whenever I heard this lyrics in Bust a Groove, this is how I really imagined it, in this fucking amazing style 🔥 I love it this flow Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱
Esto es oficial?? Sabes cuánta gente de habla hispana está pidiendo a gritos algo de este juego? Aunque no tengo idea si hay problemas con el derecho de autor los derechos ahora lo tienen unos canadienses el año pasado lo compraron .
Hey Julia Rachelle!! This is so freaking crazy. Today I'm replying to 120 comments. People still remember this from their childhoods. Life is amazing! You are AMAZING too JULIA! Thanks for the comment! BTW: Leon wants to do a song with you. I let him hear your songs.
If I may be honest? I kinda prefer the original to this one, sorry bud. Don't get me wrong this? definitely a bop that's for sure (legit had my head bobbing from start to end lol). I like the piano, the synth, the simple yet wonderful beat it had but overall? I guess nostalgia is working overtime. In time I could possibly see this growing on me since it has the same feel as long ago but with a fresh new twist....guess time will tell eh?
Hey David, I read your comment about 6 months ago. I thought it would be best to not respond to you at first, But I'm LIT right now & I read your comment again. "Don't take this the wrong way". You expressed how you felt about the new 2018 version. I accept your opinion, BUT as the multi platinum SONGWRITER / PRODUCER I am, I firmly disagree. Please allow me to share my take on this. First & FOREMOST I did not do the original music. A JAPANESE producer did it. The original music SUCKS ass terribly to me. It sounds HORRIBLE to me. Like a bunch of NOISE. It's my song, but I HATE THAT original music WITH ALL MY HEART. It fits a video game narrative perfectly, but it's WACK on the streets. Plus the engineers MESSED the mix up on the VOCALS. Thats why you hear the FEMALES voice LOUD AS FUCK on the original chorus over mine. That's not how I wrote it. That JAPANESE engineer SUCKED ass as well. THIS 2018 version is how I want the song to sound TODAY. You and Patrick Yu & the 8 people that thumbs you up can PLAY THE ORIGINAL SONG, because it benefits me all the same. My music is for my FANS. You are not a fan of mine. You are a fan of THE VIDEO GAME, Not Aaron G. West & I accept that. Thank You for leaving feedback & your opinion Have an AMAZING one❗️ Aaron G. West
@@AaronGWest **clears his throat, before speaking...** A-hem! Read your comment just now. So, this is your original take on how your song *SHOULD* have sounded like, eh? It's a few steps up from your previous take on it, and I do applaud you for putting out your original vision on how it should have been to the public. Although your last two phrases, "You are not a fan of mine. You are a fan of THE VIDEO GAME, Not Aaron G. West & I accept that." may not necessarily resonate with everyone, you did put forth your reasons well enough. However, I somewhat disagree with your words. I'd say that fans are fans, regardless of how good or how bad your performances might be. How popular your music does get might depend on context and time, IMHO. And keeping up with the times is often a tricky affair. Just because you were a "multi-platinum songwriter / producer" at the time you wrote that comment a year ago, does *NOT* necessarily mean that maintaining that glory will be easy in the years to come. Furthermore, even if we disregard personal sentiments about the content you've put out, RU-vid has its algorithms in place, and even by looking at the number of views that your videos have, by far the video with the most views so far is the very one you despise, i.e. the version made for the video game, *"Bust-A-Groove 2",* with 468,000+ views, at the time of this writing (25th Aug 2023). You're going to need much more support to make your most recent efforts more popular, and although I'm sure you're experienced in that aspect, perhaps it might be worth looking into the possible reasons why your worst effort was the one that most people seem to like the most. Perhaps your "video game fans", myself included, are blinded by nostalgia, but perhaps there might be something more to consider. Also, maybe a different approach, perhaps? Maybe that might work. Again, however, you probably have most of your puzzle pieces, but there's no harm in learning from others in order to become a much better content producer as time progresses. Just my overall two cents. Whether or not my words mean anything to you, it matters little. I'm just stating my opinion as a wanderer on God's Earth, and you're free to accept the parts that may benefit you, and you're free to discard the parts that grant you no benefit whatsoever. Good luck out there, by the way! Peace, from Malaysia. **bows, before leaving...**
