It does seem that way at first glance however, when I think about it... There is the whole superhero genre, muscular men in skin tight outfits! A lot of action movie from Terminator to Rambo, to Rocky 3, Of course action and superhero movies are usually targeted toward a male audience and guys are more likely to want to look like the actors than notice the objectification, however, I have watched lots of actions movies with women who were not used to see action movies and you could definitive see their surprise and the lust in their eyes upon seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger butt in Terminator, or Christopher Reeve in his tight Superman uniform or even that beach sprinting scene with Carl Weathers and Sylvester Stallone in Rocky III, to name a few.
