AION 6.0 | New PvP & PvE Gear, How It Works & Where You Get It From 

OMG I love it too! FINALY AION becomes REWARDING for that, what you do. When you play and work for it, you get good gear. If you don´t, you get nothing. 1 Question for the Rerolling of the optional Stats of the Gear: Can you reroll only the stat you want to change, or the others get changed as well? For example your Healing Boost on the sword. Can you change only that or it rerolls all stats?

This update is so good that it got me hyped... and I don't get hyped easily. But I have the feeling that NC West and Gameforge are going to butcher this up. And that scares me.

Hi, maybe I missed it but im a returning player. My characters still has old gear (lv. 70 pvp gear bought with AP) I got in patch 5.5 i think it was (when lvl 70 was hard to reach and lvl 75 even more impossible). Is this gear useless now? Or can i exchange it for a new basic set?

so basically those of us worked our butts off and collected all the mats and all the recipes got screwed for mats that we worked for we got 6 million Kinah for all the hearts mats to make the recipes, this rewarded the new players and screwed the original players, who stocked piled mats to create weapon skins from the Bailar? Mats that cost 250,000 kinah they gave us 1 kinah for!! OMG, I hate it!!!

So is my Royal Captain PVP gear done for in 6.0 or whatever update now? I haven't played in a year so. If so I'm guessing I have to trade it in or something. My Sophisticated +Royal Capt Harp +15 is done I'm guessing too?

Oh come on... So we basicly won't get back to pre 4.5 times where you buy a piece from a merch and thats it, you have the best of the best gear. Now you have to get one piece, then exchange it to another, then exancge that to 3rd piece and then work with that piece. Absolute garbage. And considering we're working with Gameforge, they will make it impossible for you to enchant pieces to +15 and then exchange it for better one. And obviously they will add enhancement stones into shop for 10 euros a piece. And with random stats is RNG at its finest. Good luck buying 50 stats re-roll scrols to get max attack speed of movement speed. I think I won't even bother installing this game again. Will sticm with GW2 instead.

Nice video, man. I have different feelings about this patch just cus of the transformation system which i dont like. I just dont like it cus it forces you to change your appearance. I wish you could you decide if you want to see it or not. I have played aion for about 3 years time ago and now im coming back but i dont want to see my character as a freaking pet.

Pros: All players start over (mind the kinah); Cons: All that work put into old gear was literally for nothing... They could at least make the old gear sell for lets say 10k kinah or something like this.

So Primevial merchants have gear that has randomized stat ranges? Well, there's your pay to win, only the rich and the supremely dedicated are going to have the capital to reroll their stats until they get max percentages on all the gear and take over the game once again. I suppose at least it's better than +40 shoulders like in 5.8... EDIT: Wait, base movement speed and attack/cast are also random stats and have the chance to NOT GET ANY?!? That could put people at horrific disadvantage...

Thanks for this. However it is written as if a player is brand new to Aion. What good is our current gear? Is it garbage? We do care about our current gear right? Is it worth anything in trade? Does anyone know what happens to our current gear? Is it going to be so low that we shouldn't even be asking? Some players are selling their goodies as if it is already useless.

1. Hi sywo i have some questions for you and anyone else who is reading the comments. For the item you use to buy pvp gear, when you farm the mobs are they going to be difficult mobs as I don't have good gear :D 2. Are Gold Packs untradeable can you still sell them on the broker? If not you can only buy from the shop? If so how much would they be? On the old patch if you had gold packs in your warehouse/inventory what will happen to them will they still be there or deleted? ( If only in shop then that's annoying >.< ) 3. Can you still sell supplements from LOK and GOK? 4. Are there still going to be quests like the gathering ones in Esterra for 1.8kk like in the current patch or not if there is how much would it be? 5. Can you get quna from quests? 6. The transformation card that transforms you into this animal, do you have to buy the one that DOESN'T transform you into and animal only on the aion shop? 7. What is happening with the manastone slots as they're only 3? Do u unlock them or are they already there? 8. Will there still be server wide recruitment LFG? EDIT: Are All powerful enchantment stones/omega still a thing? Can u still obtain them from instances? Can you still sell BM for Strife gear and sell for abyss points or not? Are the black enchantment stones still there? If not and will be replaced with other enchantment stones, how will we obtain them? Can you extract anymore? Will the old stones be replaced? How will we get the manastone fragments EDIT 2: how are we able to go better Makarna if we don't have good gear to get the good gear? the fact that you can still PVE to get anything for PVP is just a huge fail imo. it has been so from the beginning. It has ruined the game for me. Most high ranked players were pve heroes afraid to pvp. This used to be a very awesome game to play.. but just that little f*ckup system.. Oh and that RNG... I havent played this game in years now. I wonder if its worth going back to. Good vid @Sywo (as usual) ;)

OMG, my wife spend so much kinah investing on her Aetherforging, she will be a little disappointed knowing that those crafted sets will not be the best ones. hi Sywo, could you tell me what happened to old fusioned-weapon please? Ex: I have +25 master harvester orb combined with provenance orb, it can be exchange to new orb in 6.2, what happened to provenace orb? Is it lost and we have only new single-orb?

Good thing p2w is not a thing anymore. Pretty bad that RNGesus decides who gets the best stats. But hey, at least this patch had a lot of pros instead of cons.

Just in time for that kind of a video. I just can't decide what class I want to play. If I'm going back to NA, it'll be Ranger, but if it's Eu (which I don't want to do, since I won't buy a GP, but I'd need a GP to prepare) it's either Glad or Sin. Gosh, I hate that :D The gearing part reminds me of Diablo. You get the same gear, but in the end you wanna keep grinding to get higher stats. I HOPE. SO MUCH. That there won't be a fucking scroll in the cash shop to change your stats. Sywo, do you have any idea how assassins stand in 6.x? Are they wanted in pve? Since I'm currently leveling a sin on a complete new account on Eu.

make me wanna start play ing aion again , but black desert has so much more to offer with a lot more flexibilty . and you can never ever be behind even the strongest of players. think ill stick with bdo instead , its more efficient

nice aion becoming like it was in the past when we was cap 60 and had tia eye. Everyone had pve tf gear and pvp the abyss/mithrill one .. 4kind of enchantments/ rng stats manastone slots etc nice nice i like it. old days pvp was awesome lets w8.

Sadly can't enjoy these combat systems anymore :( But really like these updates as it gives a good ideer where ncsoft progression is going. (so we know if project tl will be a milking setup or if they got their brain back and going towards none abusive systems to maximize fairness and enjoyment to keep people playing).. I really want a rough hour estimation of the average time to get it and how much unlimited money will decrease this time. (Skyforge showed how to trick the brain with p2w without direct sale of gear ;) ) But properly well try it when it gets to eu, although my wife's account was apparently stolen and sold so gameforge refuse to talk to us unless we pull them to court so not really worth it and no point in her having to restart so more reasons not to play it

What happens if you fail while enchanting? -1? Start from 0? Breaks?

Have to point out from other videos that you spend less kinah getting a crafted pvp set than getting an abbys one after the big reduction of materials needed in 6.2 and if there are still unbind stones around you can even sell it when you are done with it and got your abbys pvp one finished :D

excellent video, I used to watch all your videos before you quit aion long time ago. Really hope you make a leveling guide for new and returning players and a good way for free to play players to make good kinah.

aion's gear design is one of the best imo..its one of the reason why i don't ignore news about the game. i really love the raid ultimate set for 6.0, mainly the chain ones.

Hey sywo! First of all: Great video :) secondly: Is it worth it to keep an old pair of gloves with casting speed (ex. for healing) after the patch? You may lose some stats but the utility that the extra casting speed gives might be worth it.

But i can't help to wonder if it will be a decent kinah source if you get the mats while just playing and maybe get a proc and sell them on AH. Because so far it it seems like we will not have that many kinah sources anymore, maybe i'm wrong.
