I love how Aion has taken one of the better wardrobe systems in MMOs and turned it into complete money-robbing crap. I'd cut them a bit of slack if the game had no other cash shop items or P2W at all, so they'd be forced to maximize the monetization off skins, but we have several tiers of subscriptions and other stuff on top. There's no reason for this other than greed. Unlike in most other games, skins in Aion can only be used once, so you're pretty much forced to use this system. Who's gonna pay real money for a one-use costume? You have 4 types of items: costume, helmet, accessory, wings. That means you'd need 4 slots if you want to wear a fully customized set. Obviously you'll want several sets down the line. Starting us off with ONE SLOT is actually hilarious. The slot expansions cost almost as much as the costumes themselves, and they're only sold in bundles so you have to put down more money at once. Using Quna for single slots is inefficient and even more expensive (also, I noticed on the video it cost 400, but in EU it's 600 for some reason). So basically, every time you want to buy a 10-15€ costume, you need to pay another 20-25€ish to buy the slots so you could actually use it. And you can't even share it between characters. AND for some reason you need to pay kinah for the remodeling on top of everything, which is annoying during leveling when you're swapping out armors more quickly, and we have huge kinah issues in EU in general. I don't like complaining about stuff, but come on, NC.
Hello there .I totally agree with you . Wardrobe is one of the game's probably most expensive features apart from the Soul Healing.It's glam, and cosmetics in Aion have always been expensive in a form or another.I love outfits ,as probably many others and I am not looking at these detailes you have mentioned ,purely because I want to wear those outfits and hey I pay for it.But Indeed ,it's not something you can just have easy in this game.I dislike the fact that we pay kinah besides quna and real money .I would be happier if I didn't have to spend kinah also. In any way this video is made to help people who enjoy and want to use this feature ,but thank you for your input

cant I just apply my skins from my inventory using an npc or something? Or do I really have to use this grandma Callcenter scam level of rip off system?
