You basically play an hour a day if you are free to play. You need Siel's Aura to experience everything. You can't even get good gear. You can't gather Aether for cash. (very profitable) You can't trade with players. You are screwed if you are free to play. It's like playing the original game with all these limitations.
If you time it right, you can enter an instance before siel's aura and have it up right before the boss. I got my gold gears that way. As for gathering, just have an alt lol! Trading is almost unnecessary. Look at what people have been selling nowadays. Candies at 75k each, perer jellies. What else? Most other stuff are on the broker
