Hey budy great video, there's a thing i tried to understand, how can you have so much crit with high block as well? I tried on private server but i couldnt got all thoses status (780 crit and 3300 block with food and scrolls) . =/
By following the guide builds if you socketed your sword/board/gloves/legs/shoes all with block and then crit and then your greatsword with crit, when you are on sword and board you have 3,300 block, then when switching back to the GS for doing damage you will be at your 780 crit. The build stats are designed with weapon swapping in mind :)
@@Emyrryl Oh i got it, i tried what you said on aion.aspirine and my block went to 2927 with sword and shield with block 27 and shield +10 is it right ? >_>
Awh thank ya, Sure do! Hat: Mystic academy hat - hair comes with the hat giving you two hairstyles (have wavy two tone as my norm hair) Outfit: Midnight tiger outfit Weapon: Noble Lightning dragon king's greatsword~
This is my 10th time watching the video, gave a like and also a sub, its already been 3 month man you are killing me, when would you say the templar vs classes video would drop? Also if its possible to include the changes after 2.4 and how they affected templar that would be awesome, I would literally watch a detailed 1 hour plus video with pleasure, and if there is any tips and tricks maybe macros for templars that you would like to share I wouldn’t mind to know haha, lastly if its also possible to mention the stats that we should a for in each set, atk/acc/crit set, block/hp set, mb/ma set, mr set, solid solid work man keep it up.
Believe it or not the only thing I actually have only the scrolls on a macro, everything else i input manually for the sake of ensuring the key press does ONLY what I want it to. I am currently working on the 2.8 changes and will be trying to get that out in the next day or two (was waiting for this patch specifically to drop before making the class V class as it shakes a LOT of things up. Only issue is I was praying for ALL the balance changes to come through, however we only got half the patch which has put me in a weird spot of "do I wait or make them now" As for stat breakdowns; I put some in the video but I got ya Attack set 780+ attack 780+ crit, hitting both of these will shred anyone (you can get higher these are just the minimums) Accuracy set: 780 crit 3100 accuracy hybrid will hit most, 3,300+ accuracy will risk sacrificing some crit on +11-+15 players but can still be done for purist builds. Mboost set: 2700 mboost with magic accessories for the extra m.acc will hit non Mr sets ( DO NOT USE ON MR you cannot break it without sacricing mboost on the character) MR set: 2,200+ so you hit 3k with AA will resist a lot of things, SMs will still get through this however because of the way buff ripping works. Sorcs will struggle to hit you with out magic assist or a dedicated m.acc set, this means they will sacrifice some of their damage output, however this is going to be replaced with m.suppression sets in 3.0 Block set: 780 crit and as much block as you can socket; reason being any missing block can be made up by running backwards (+1k block on current stat) Or using shield stance (Passive 1k block and UD to be used when on a non damaging phase of the fight) HP set: Relegated to PVE mainly but pve: 560 crit rest hp Pvp: 780 crit rest hp Hope this helps :3
@@Emyrryl There's no way an Assassin can beat a Templar... unless he makes a lot of mistakes.. heheh. 😁🤣 This reminds me of Templar trying to beat a Spiritmaster... I bet it's very hard. 😁
Hi there, Really depends on where you are gear wise. If you are starting out from scratch Armor > accessories > weapon (No pvp defense is a dead templar and you won't even be able to support, so it's the first thing to wanna get) (smallest to largest pieces for immediate gaines) If you are moving from set to set (Example: moving from 50e to brigade general gear) You always do Accessories > weapon > armor (your previous tier armor is enough to keep you alive if you can get the damage output) (Largest to smallest pieces to get the worst grinds out of the way first)
Great video, i have a question about prayer of freedom: aside from dispelling movement restrictions it makes you "immune to crashes" i honestly don't understand the meaning of it though, what exactly is supposed to mean?
It makes you immune to having your wings clipped when flying. Sort've useless in the current patch ecosystem, Which is why we were given Nimble protector. As instead that gives us root/slow resist 30% for 10 seconds. But outside of flying all it does is break whatever immobilization that is on you. Very confusing tooltip and I hate it : (
Hey! Thanks for this incredible video! I learned alot on how this class work. Currently im trying to learn templar but im on 4.6 patch so everything seems different here, but i would ask if you have any tip for that patch changes, or if i have to "follow" samehow the video build. I Really appriciate your work o/
I'd have to go through the patch and look but if I remember correctly we had blood slash which was perfect. as well as if you have punishing thrust replace punishment with it, stigma builds are pretty much the same outside of that, as for gear, same socketing practices just with up to date gear/manastones. The only additional set to worry about would be magic surpression. As for composites, crit +17 / attack 2s for your candycane pieces. However you can get away with attack 5 / crit 8 stones on your attack pieces to help bolster your crit into healthy ranges (to bypass the ridiculous amount of strike resist in those patches)
You can definitely use damage godstones on a GS as long as it's specifically made for PvE ONLY in PvP it's a poor choice in comparison to a mace because godstone damage is affected by magic boost/accuracy. so if your GS is being used for both definitely avoid damage godstones.
I definitely can~ I was going to introduce the other classes in a Templar Vs (Class) to showcase the other classes since most of the basics apply still But it would breakdown the other classes to the near same level
Hello~ These are the thunder dragon king weapon skins, they came in an event pass at one point along with the Fire dragon king skins. However sadly they are only limited skins and are currently unavailable on NA :(
Hi! dont know if you still see this since this video is 3 months old, i would be a New Player to the Game and would like to play Templar because i like how it looks and the Armor, is it a BAD idea to be play one as a New Player? Thank you for the video!
This is.. a rather interesting question, Templar itself: Not at all, believe it or not the most recent patch in NA (2.8) Has put them in the best state they have EVER been in across the updates on both retail and classic here. However the overall new player experience is very rough due to the drop systems, leveling is very easy, however gearing is VERY hard. If you come back to the game be prepared for an easy leveling grind but a harder than ever gearing grind. I also plan on going over the 2.8 templar changes in their own video.
@@Emyrryl Thank you for the answer! i never played AION but i sort of was in the Mood playing an older MMO because, i felt current/new MMO's tend to be all Rush and FOMO and get this and do that what is very tiresome.
So I was searching for a templar vid for aion classic. I click on this one without hesitation. I'm watching it, but hark.... the voice... I know this voice..... I look at the channel name and its none other than my Legion BG Emyrryl. (this is Voodu btw) good vid. thankx
This is a very good question, Each has their own advantages. Elyos: Has an additional chance to proc face smash(stumble) and has an additional stun Asmodian: Can use bleed to bury a godstone with a severe blow, And has a potential 3.5k heal that elyos templar does not. Putting the two of them of equal skill against one another is going to ultimately come down to RNG however. (Which godstone procced more, which shining/punishment high rolled vs not)
