What our struggle has earned us
What this war of ours is good for
It is all perhaps best reflected in the vast, red sands stretching before our eyes.
So much pain has been suffered. So many lives lost for this place.
Yet, we have no choice but to keep walking. Weakness is not an option.
For our brethren who fell, for our brethren who are yet to fall still.
And thus we walk these scorching sands
traversing this strange, new land
hoping that some day, maybe
we may find a solution to it all
and put our memories to rest here alongside the others.
