Great review of the gun Chris. I'm not in a position to buy a gun at the moment, but this is a good resource for anyone interested in the Galahad. Not sure if it beats a s500.... But it looks like a good gun that can group very well from your findings. Thank you for taking the time to do this.

I always loved this rifle. I feel that if it had a bottle and FX style side lever. It would have flown off the shelves. Same with the TDR. A removable bottle in 300 to 580cc would make it great.
These are excellent points, ones that I didn't think about. The shot count was still good with the standard air supply, getting around 120 shots. But I see your point. I do, however, believe the cocking arm mechanism is outstanding on this gun. Perhaps it was too progressive? Thanks for your comment! Please consider subscribing.
@@southwestshooters I agree with you 💯%. If you are referring to UK spec. Iam however, in the USA. So dealing with our power levels the shot count is terrible. The TDR for example, only gets 2 mags. tops. This constantly having to refill is a pain. Especially if your target practicing. Already subscribed! 👍 And the cocking is fine. Except for one place. Speed silhouette competition.
Your Idea of a Bottle is unfortunate, it would destroy the aesthetics. Aor Arms do a doubled cylinder in a rifle perhaps this would be an option for you ask them to make one for you..

Excellent testing , just had hoped you would have subtitled ( don't know if that's the correct word for it ) each individual target with pellet type / weight & distance .. nevertheless , some descent groupings there .. your spot on with the anti " cant " bubble level , you probably WILL need it as the height of the scope is mega high , id consider a beacon on top too warn low flying aircraft .. ( poor attempt at a gag ) the rifle itself is very much a marmite affair , think I've only seen one at the range I use .. which leads me to believe it isn't a great seller , nevertheless , if you like bullpups , and have the cash , then go for it I say , the build quality of Air Arms is excellent , both aesthetically & mechanically , with a magazine thats faultless .. I have two AA's , both are great with exceptional accuracy , not the BEST I may add , but exceptional nonetheless .. ( ultimate sporter HR & tdr s410 ) ok , the cocking on the TDR is a bit stiff , but that aside , its great ... great vid .. just needed them added " subtitles " for that little bit of finesse ..

@@southwestshooters Sorry if I come across a bit of an arse , that was not my intention at all , I was just trying to be a bit constructive .. ill be honest , im a technological dimwit , I couldn't put a vid out even if it meant me being publicly castrated ... anyway , still working on my favourite rifle review ( as per last vid ) but been doing some chronograph testing to facilitate this .. keep up the good work / reviews ..

Nice bullpup but I don't understand why a brand like AA and others, still put their pressure gauge on the business-end of the gun? Even a child can tell you it's ridiculously stupid and dangerous.
Yes! As a child, I can tell you - it's very dangerous. And the loading lever - is out of this world... Just overpriced product of a good company, trying to keep pace with the competition.
