I’m not gonna lie I prefer Air Canada over WestJet. Partially because Air Canada alone has gone up against multiple Canadian Airlines in the past (CP Air, NordAir, Pacific Western Airlines, Canadian Airlines International) and has managed to overcome them all. Also, their “Frostbite” livery is one of my fav liveries.

I don't know what one is better for me because I used to fly WestJet all the time when I was a kid and loved it, but Air Canada is the better airline overall when you take literally everything into account.

I love the air canada livery, mostly because i love that its basic.

This French Canadian actually prefers Westjet overall for the cost, comfortable planes and especially, the best crews ever. They will do everything to make you happy, from upgrading your seat just because you asked nicely to giving everyone extra snacks “because there’s so much left over”. Air Canada’s customer service is sadly lacking in comparison if something goes wrong and you try to reach them for resolution. You’re forgetting Air Transat, which I also like much better than Air Canada. If I want to travel on different routes, I’d much prefer Air France or lovely British Airways ❤

I can confirm that Air Canada‘s hub is in Montreal because I live in Montreal
