Even though I don't intend to make a cannon of this size, I prefer a smaller one, but I have to admit, after watching hundreds of DIY airgun and air cannon videos, yours is the most comprehensive, detailed, easy to understand video. Kudos.
You CANNOT primer all of the joints like you did!!! Primer soaks in and softens the PVC, but it also evaporates fairly quickly, leaving the PVC “unprimered” in a couple of minutes. Just making a joint purple ainta gonna cut it!!! (Also, you are wrapping the teflon tape on backwards. It’s supposed to wrap with the threads, not go against the oncoming threads.) Other than a couple of assembly errors, this is a damn fine video!

I couldn't see what holes you were plugging with epoxy. Not too sure where exactly you drilled the hole for the 1/4" nipple either. Your overhead shots are too far away. That trigger assembly is damn genius though. Thanks for the parts list.
Hello @brerrabbit4265 - sure thing... For drilling of the nipple, you would drill the cap where the 8 molded lines point into the hump, drilling right in the center of the hump (on the valve cap). Then the hole you are filling with epoxy is the very small hole at the bottom of where the solenoid would normally thread in...reminder that you are not using the solenoid - that is where your handle goes. Hope that helps!!
@@deiongordon7046 i tried it and yes it was just to drill a hole.... air pressure from the handle opens up the walve when pressed by airpressure. interesting but it works. but hammer trigger mechanism alot better for creating cold air pressure
@@deiongordon7046 yea man it was easy, i used an asian version of sprinkler valve, just make sure to close up that tiny hole thats under the little machine that u remove. but i swear a regular pvc brass valve with a hammer much higher pressure for like 8mm metal pellets....
