The first album root 😊 it wasn't as radio friendly the song,s still aren't real long. What's some officials Deftones Stephen Carpenter guitar playthrough jinjer kicks major ass 🫠🤪🤪
Yeah I started playing guitar in 1997 and all I had was guitar tabs I got from the internet or purchased from the music store. Nowadays there are people covering just about anything you want to hear and they teach you as well. All for free 🤦♂️
Dude, don't be fooled. This is one of their softer songs from their first two albums. Their first two albums have some real choppy bangers on it. Like My Own Summer, Roots, Engine #9 and many more.
Takes me back to highschool. Give me late 90's teen vibes and I rarely go back to it. Oneof those bands whos sound grew up, and changed, as you did. I generally listen to White Pony and everything after. Deftones are one of the few bands out their where I can say every album is consistently an 8 or 9 out of 10 to me.
This song was 13 years old when it was posted on youtube 13 years ago :) Might not want to assume the youtube upload date is the release date when looking at older bands lol. The early 2000s bands your thinking of had songs like this as their inspiration.
Deftones and Chino are just AMAZING! You can't go wrong listening to ANY of their mainstream music. Chino did branch off and had another band called Crosses in 2014. That album was pretty fire too, but NOTHING like Deftones iconic sound! You need to listen to Digital Bath and then Rosemary, to get a little bit of two different sides of this band! I LOVE DEFTONES! Good luck with this rabbit hole.
This was their second album, this is a chill track, you need to do shove it from that album and many more that are heavier. White Pony is one of their best albums, the two your started with are two of their best in my opinion. Diamond eyes album is another one of their best.
My favorite Deftones song by far. There are some other good ones out there like "RISK" and "Change(in the House of Flies)" but for me this will always be *the* definitive footnote in their catalogue.
my fave reactor on my favourite song of all time, love it. glad you liked it, although in this video they've cut off like another minute and a half of the song for some reason
You Gotta know the whole end of the song got cut off because this is the radio edit! Song is actually almost 5 minutes long and personally I think that last minute is a big deal. you Gotta do shove it next time! Or engine number 9 or Head up
Chill nod your head song. Still one of my favs. A few that really show chops would include my own summer / elite. Hexagram is a dope showcase of his emotive singing and screams. Digital bath is super chill and hip hoppy and moody and he hits some notes that just get to you.
this is what they looked like ( the original line up) - the bass player passed away after been hit by a car and spending years in coma !!! a keyboard player also joined the band.you should check the accoustic version of this song .......even more melo ,and great vibes !!!
@@jameswatt5557 yea because they most def copied a riff from a song that was not released until 2 months after be quiet was recorded. A simple google would of made your foot in your mouth a little less tight.
