I'm glad that i found your youtube channel I was 13 years relaxed and then i was going bald to go natural And now after 3 years natural i'm over it fr i can't do that anymore Next week i go back to relaxed hair and i am so happy about it Love your hair and your videos 💕
I'm so glad I'm not alone in this. I was natural for a year and the struggle was real. I felt like a failure when I permed in June Reading comments and seeing that I'm not alone is great!
Yes!!! I am about to backslide. I have a lot of hair and it takes hours even for the simplest style and I know it will only get worse with length. I have been natural for almost 3 years and I'm done. Everyone knows what they can deal with
I’m only 3 weeks post relaxer, but I did this routine with my hair care products. IT TOTALLY WORKS!!! This is the 1st time I’ve ever air dried my hair with it looking this good! Thank you so much!!!
Same here hon! I am find I am not enjoying the natural hair. Past a certain length, I just put it under wigs or wear braids because maintaining work-appropriate styles is a pain (my hair does not behave and gels etc make my scalp flake). I cannot canerow etc, so I don't take it out often when it's styled to go under wigs. It becomes easy to neglect the underlying hair and it just gets dry and breaks without me enjoying it. Honestly, I pay the most attention to my hair (washes, deepcons etc) when it is relaxed. I can care for it without needing hairdressers (except to relax), and I still have the option of wigs when I am many weeks post. I am definitely going straight again.
@@ninapreciosa377 I deep conditionned my hair weekly...Do a protein treatment once a month...But seriously i get my hair relaxed once or twice a year....My hair is mid back lenght
I have relaxed hair,I always knew that if I don't blowdry my hair it will become weak and start shedding off, never knew about air drying, thank you so much for this
How do you stretch your relaxers? I have a very hard time getting past 4 weeks. I have very thick waste length hair, and have been getting my hair relaxed since I was 7. After 3 weeks my scalp gets very itchy. I wash my hair 1-2 times a week and deep condition under a hooded dryer once a week. Any tips anyone has would be appreciated 💜
Idk if this is too late, but definitely protective styles. Braids, wigs, twists, etc. I used to get relaxers every month, but using protective styles I’ve slowly been able to stretch them out!
I know that this response is late but I just ran across this vid. I had a hard time too until I started doing protective styles like crochet hair. Then it got to be a whole year without a relaxer and I would take it out 3 to 4 weeks and really deep condition and go back to crochet hair. My hair grew tremendously and thick. I finally got a relaxer bcus it was so thick that I couldn't comb it. I regret getting a relaxer. Not that I'm against them but I remembered why I went natural. It kept breaking off. I'm on my natural journey again. Pray it turned out well for you.
Hi, another late response but when stretching a relaxer it helps to give the new growth some TLC. As in when you're deep conditioning make sure to apply enough product to the new growths that makes them soft and more manageable. I also use a different moisturizer on my new growths than I do on my relaxed hair.
@@HealthyHairJunkie relaxed after a year of being natural. You don't think that washing once a week dries your hair out? Definitely going to try your routines
Very nice routine. I just purchased the as I am conditioner with your link since I really like the double butter cream so I want to try the deep conditioner. I hope it's an affiliate link😊
the only thing that discourages me about the video is that my hair is relaxed hair is wavy now when wet, so I feel if i just let it air dry it just gets wavy. I washed it yesterday and it came out a mixture of wavy and straight. Would wet wrapping help for that?
I usually do roller sets when I airdry and i thought I'd try to airdry my hair this way, but it was an epic fail for me, I am texlaxed and I think i have too much texture.
Love your videos. This is really helpful. I gave it try and it wasn’t too bad but my hair didn’t dry as smooth as yours. The denman brush is great but I can’t use it cause it rips out my hair. It might be cause I’m 14 weeks post and I have a bob (growing out my pixie). Do you happen to know your hair type?
Do you use shampoo each time? How often do you do a protein treatment? Sorry for so many questions i want to follow your hair regimen it seams to work with my hair like a treat. Thanks
@@kateyve4537 I use a light protein treatment every other wash day and/or a hard protein treatment like the ORS hair mayonnaise every 4-6 weeks. I have a video on my hair regime if you need any other details xx
I originally got mine from myluxebeauty.com but had a little accident and burned it in the microwave 🙈 so it was replaced directly by thermalhaircare.com xx
