ICONIC. so haunting & epic. the legendary 'dark side of the moon safari' tour. the boys were feelin' it in a big way; super stoned out 24/7 and overwhelmed with how to follow up an "instant classic". so they got high. went weirder & spookier and made another masterpiece. 🤷☁️ totally, utterly rad and still so forward sounding. possibly their most artistic statement. 🖤🌛
I saw them on the Moon Safari tour in Seattle, Washinton. It was amazing but they didn't have noise gates on their bloody analog instruments, all hell broke loose between songs. Love these guys...Top 10 favorite band for me. This track is sublime...
wowww i love this album and this song. i remember when talkie walkie was out in mexico , it was a double cd limited edition , and the second one was 5 live songs , amazing shows of that tour , i lost it : ( but this is quiet near ... whos that f***** drummer ! ???? somebody tell me please !
@dermdris1 That sounds about right. I was there both years. Yeah, you are spot on - it was the other stage, possibly on the Sunday night. I remember the atmospher was really chilled. A lot of folk just sat on the grass with fire-torches and a beer. Really cool gig.
But above all it's best to be the piano player in the pub, whacking the living daylights out of the pub piano trying to get enough crescendo out of the last few bars before crashing like an airliner into an eggcup full of water.
