Beautiful job it's something I wanted to try to do what is the height of your stencils are those 1-in stencils.. thank you for reading this and getting back
Hey man I was wondering if you print your own stencils or buy them, if you buy them I’d appreciate a link because I’m looking to do a very similar project.
Zhemical hey bro how are you doing? Personally I would check out Etsy because they have a lot of different sellers with great quality. That is generally where I get them from. In the future I’ll be selling my own stencils for y’all to check out
Acetone or leather deglazer, this is 100% the most important step. This strips off the factory finish allowing a clean prepped surface for the paint to apply to otherwise your paint will come off straight away. You then seal the paint in with a finisher you replace it with
Excellent video bro and do you use the angelus sealer w/ that scratch resistant product or jus the stratch resistant priduct when finished? Also subscribed 💯
Jerome Brown thank you bro I appreciate it. I used 1 coat of “angelus 2-hard” and 2 coats of “scratch resistant sealer” no other sealer or finisher was used. With scratch resistant sealer it leaves the paint looking almost matte
Dark brown and beige are the two color si have used work well, Amy thoughts Also do you put in the scratch resistance before or after the krylon matte finish I use on mine
This guy on ebay sells the best vinyl LV stencils i’ve used to far, only $15 for a whole sheet which you can make multiple custom pairs with one sheet. here’s his listing: www.ebay.com/itm/324249019919
I am personally not selling on Etsy but there are a lot of people selling customs on Etsy. Also, on Etsy if you place an order on anything and do not receive your item, they will send you your money back.
Mark Randall Garin you can but it generally doesn’t turn out as clean. With a brush you usually have a lot of touching up to do after the stencil is off
Use blow dryer after you place stencil for a couple of seconds. Put some pressure with your fingers on the stencil to adhere well. You’re likely painting too thick of coats which will always seep through the stencil no matter how well prepped Even doing these as best possible, always be prepared to do small touch ups! Nobodies perfect, so don’t beat yourself up!
