The Fugitive was probably his best one outside of Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Blade Runner. Frantic (1988) was also a really interesting one, basically headlining an art house film as a massive A-list star which is unheard of today.

@@bearcattony00 That's what pisses me off about the movie, honestly. You can't have an extra scene after the climax. And in the middle of escaping Air Force One before it crashes to boot. That would be like Samus Aran having to face Ridley after defeating Mother Brain while Planet Zebes is about to blow up.

It's ridiculous because there are no escape pods and parachute ramps on the presidential aircraft, having the hostages jump from the plane at night over unknown territory would have killed most if not all of them, etc.

So far, air force one is still the only action film with the US president using his military skills to save everyone regardless of his safety. Lately there's a lot of presidents in film were either the men in distress or the backstabbing leaders who either get away or dead in the end. This was still the only film with the truest selfless leader of the country who protects his people Gary Olsen was awesome as the villain.

The days of Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Willis, Norris, Snipes, Bronson, Eastwood, and Ford kicking major ass on screen for the greater good of humanity are now all but a memory that has long since faded from our consciousness... now all we have left nowadays are wannabe GQ cover boys and monotonous muscleheads like Channing Tatum, Jason Monoa, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Hemsworth, and, of course, The Rock.

Plot twist: First Lady then shoots the President with that gun coz she's from Radek's team and was originally married to Mr. Ditkovich who was never paid rent by Peter Parker and also was killed in this plane.
