Pity the aircraft was in a less than acceptable state. Certainly not the Air France I grew up with. Hopefully this is a one-off. Your reporting is first rate. Thank you for your bringing us along. Tchau.

third world cabin! a shame; had the same bad experience Paris-Havana v.v. KLM flies no longer to Cuba but also used a worn out "retro cabin" on an old A330. Catering in AF is better then in KLM.

When was this flight? AF now charge for Business Class seat reservations. Obviously, using BA as their model!

Volare in business class fa la differenza : nel pre- volo la lounge dove si puo' mangaire e riposare in santa pace , il pre imbarco , il brindisi di benvenuto a bordo, vari astucci e trousse, un menu' da ristorante e poi un confortevole simil letto per dormire nelle lunghe ore di viaggio. Manca una sola cosa, che forse tra non molto sara' possibile : una doccia calda che concilia un buon sonno.
